I'm still waiting for all of those who dismissed these pics as customs, and called us idiots for believing them to be prototypes, to sack up and eat some crow.

Look, this line has been successful for Hasbro, but that success is relative. It's a drop in the bucket when you look at their overall business strategy, and they are under absolutely no obligation to lose money just to please you. This is still a niche product, and that's not likely to change any time soon. Thank you for missing the point completely! Well done! |

You think it's "foolish" to, "believe (Hasbro) couldn't hire or outsource a company to drum up 75 figures and mold in under 6 months." In order to keep this line going, the brand managers have to keep it profitable, which means managing overhead and keeping production costs reasonable. If they decided to do it, Hasbro could get more than seventy-five figures ready in less than six months, but considering they're a corporation with a responsibility to their shareholders, it would be egregiously "foolish" to do so. That goes double when the sole purpose would be pacifying the source of incessant complaining on the internet. |

Man, fast forward a few hundred pages and end up in the middle of a shitstorm! I am throwing my two cents in the wishing well then running far far away...
Full disclosure: I'm not a completist (with this line anyway). SE: I'm glad he's warm, it's nice for the folks that get all the little touches, but I really don't need another SE. Roadblock: I already have a Roadblock, admittedly one with a small head, but the V1 deco is fine by me. Flint: I want another look at that head. The Tiger Force stuff I couldn't care less about, but the new arms look good. If he doesn't have the shovel face from V1 I might have to snag this one. CC: Looks like we're getting a nearly identical figure in the TRU 3-pack. The crystals are a nice touch, but not worth a new figure. Python Officer: The deco is meh, but I'll grab one to add to my Technicolor Army. Baroness: new head mold or no, the rest looks the same as the 5-pack, and therefore DO NOT WANT. Bludd: Passable. On the weak side though. Who knows, maybe we'll get an improved version later (as rumored with Lady Jaye etc). Then EVERYONE can be pissed, lol. |

I feel that if they took this wave and spread out the figures in it throughout other waves no one would really complain about any of these guys, but since it's 1 wave people are angry.
I am in the camp that likes the look of these guys. Bludd is cool. I don't mind that it reuses the Zartan mold at all considering that the mold works much better for Bludd than it does for Zartan. Different legs would be better but I'll be happy with this as is too. Baroness, on the other hand, I will leave MOC and hang her on the wall if she has good card art, otherwise she's a pass. Roadblock looks very much like the old V2 perfectly good buy as far as I am concerned. SE love the body mold. I'll buy it. though I'd much rather get a Snow Serpent or an Arctic Cobra Commander from the movie than SE in arctic gear. However with two Snow Joes now it is time for an arctic Cobra, please??? Flint I never had any of the Tiger Force from the old days, but always wanted them. Perfect version I think. Will certainly buy. Cobra Commander I have enough CCs right now, but damn it looks so good and I have ALWAYS wanted a cartoon CC... I will buy this one too That leaves the PP Officer. Considering all the old PP figures are coming out in the 25th line, it only seems right that we get all the old guys in a PP deco. This is a great start and I'll army build the hell out of them while I wait for my PP Crimson Guards and Vipers. Of course we'll need Copperhead to lead them. So all in all, an occasional wave like this is fine as long as we do continue to get new characters too. No one complained about wave 4 and those weren't even repaints of previously issued characters but just straight up repacks. |

Irid70, just why would anyone 'eat crow' as you say because they didn't think that what was posted was official and you apparently did? Boy you really won big there.. Everyone voices their thoughts and opinions on forums. They looked like a bunch of repaints that could have done by someone at home. Big deal. They still look that way.

Wow 40 pages dont have time to read all of whats going on.
I am pleased with most of the figures. I like Roadblock, Flint, Snake-Eyes, Python Officer, and Major Bludd. Baroness and Cobra Commander are nothing special.
