It's better than Bludd here, but still a cop-out.

EDIT: after looking at the HISS Driver, his entire upper torso would be way better than Zartans...it matches much more closely...the armor looks more like classic Bludd, and the shirt collar is sticking out on the HISS Driver too like classic Bludd...that was an easy fix and i don't even have either yet He'll look awesome! It would be a real shame to see the bionic arm made so detailed, then not bend like the old one. That was lame. As has already been said (and shown), those Red Star legs would be perfect for Bludd. Really, my only grief with Bludd is the upper legs, I'm still holding out some hope that they'll get changed. TF Flint actually looks surprisingly good. TF was always one of my least favorite sub-teams, and I was not looking forward to seeing any of them released. Hopefully, if they do more, they'll stay away from the stupid yellow stripes. (or yellow PP CG, hopefully they'll never repeat that hideous CG!) |

The biggest thing i don't understand with the Bludd...is...they've gotten away from what's actually been working...they could have easily just used any of the generic "collared" shirt molds and attached romovable body armor to create the illusion of a new mold...
that's worked very well for Hasbro up to this point...so why stop now? PS i will have to agree that the HISS Driver & Red Star (didn't the original even have stripes down one leg?) combo would have been MUCH more accurate to the original. And much more accepted than a straight repaint. |

I think what burns the most about Bludd is that he was suppose to be in wave 6. Then he got pushed out of wave 7 to be "perfected". Most of us were cool with that. Then we see him and it's like wtf?

Does anyone know if the sub group figures will have the original Tiger Force / Python Patrol logos and card art?
Please Hasbro!? It's little details like that, that make all the difference too me. |

I have to admit I am liking the Roadblock and Python Patrol.
The Snake Eyes with pancho is a stretch but what's a wave with out SE? The blue Baroness reminds me of the Invisible woman from the Fantastic 4. It might just be me. Major Bludd with Zartan parts is disappointing. Tiger Force Flint is amazing as TF was a great sub story in my opinion. The rest are interesting repaints or repackaging. |

Believing that they couldn't hire or outsource a company to drum up 75 figures and mold in under 6 months is foolish. It's Hasbro. It's like the COKE of the toy world. Look, this line has been successful for Hasbro, but that success is relative. It's a drop in the bucket when you look at their overall business strategy, and they are under absolutely no obligation to lose money just to please you. This is still a niche product, and that's not likely to change any time soon. |
