Yeah, I also doubt that CC will be available on a single card. Hasbro just released him for wave 4 and this one doesn't look different enough as to deserve a release.
Bring on the cartoon 2 packs! (Falcon / Nemesis 2 pack makes sense now?) These are just "in-house" pics, as many have suggested. Probably the first attempts.

This type of DVD/figure release may also be where our new previously mentioned Scarlett & Lady Jaye sans hat are showing up.

I don't mind buying another CC especially since he comes with a cool accesory. I also dig the Baroness. At this point HAsbro has my money, so bring them on.

Will it be 5, if so, that will suck, but I do not see them putting all five on one disc...but I do predict a glowing/translucent/radioactive Snake Eyes if its more than one pack.

Honestly, I'm not wild about the figures based on the cartoon. I mean, the cartoon was okay in my opinion, but miles and miles behind the comics in quality. But, hey, Hasbro needs to appeal to all fans, whether they're fans of the cartoon or the comics.

I'm liking the idea of a cartoon based set of figures. But damn... not another Cobra Commander!!!

Someone in this Thread (sorry, too lazy to dig) mentioned a huge demand for the comic packs. Really?
On the one hand I don't disagree that I look forward to these as much as anyone, but W1 of the comic packs aren't in huge demand right now (although thankfully selling brisquely), so I'm curious what you base your statement on? Before the release of the first comic packs I (and others) predicted that part of the reason Hasbro was demanding 6 PoP's for Doc was to make sure their lesser selling comic-packs moved right along with the better selling ones. I wonder if this bit of prescience has been proven correct? I suppose it's a bit too soon to tell, since the deadline for Doc is August, but from what I'm seeing W2 is being scarfed up no problem, but W1....not so much. |
