Aside from the lack of articulation at his legs, he looks good.

Neck is too short. I like the full "14" on the shirt though.

I just got this set on Sunday night and just opened it up last night, and I have to say this figure is TERRIBLE. I am not normally one to come out and say about a figure because I generally don't complain about paint apps or weapon load-outs and usually articulation is not going to make or a break a figure for me (unless it gets to 5 points of articulation). But this figure is just... bad. There's no other word for it. ESPECIALLY when a perfectly acceptable version/sculpt of this character was already released, like, 7 years ago! I'm not sure why they swapped out some parts or re-tooled them, but I don't remember the 25th anniversary version having no neck. I also remember him have articulated ankles. And what's wrong with this guy's wrists? Something feels "off" with them. Are they just too small? Am I too accustomed now to having wrists that rotate and elevate? This figure needs fixes to the neck, wrists, and ankles.

As a child, I didn't like sub teams- I thought repainting was a cheap way to make new figures and I still think that, but now as an adult collector I don't mind repaints simply because it's an option to get more figures.
While I accept the deco, this figure still sucks. How hasn't Hasbro gotten the message that the Retaliation Wave 1 Roadblock legs are unacceptable in terms of lack of articulation? Also, what professional sculptor or designer thought these legs looked proportionate to either the Roadblock build or this build? I get it though- Hasbro wasn't concerned with the actual quality of the figures. They are simply concerned with reducing their own costs. I call shenanigans on that. I don't want to buy figures with reduced articulation. I hate that I was stuck buying this figure to get the others figures in the multi-pack that it was packaged with. |

I actually like this figure. Yeah, reduced articulation, but it is hardly the way Star Wars is going.
I'll just let myself out. |

Great photos but what a shame on how he was built. Looks like I am keeping my 25th! I just wish he was as big as the 50th Leatherneck and Gung-Ho.

You guys are silly. I swear hasbro needs to start putting stamps on 3 packs now to let everyone know what's for collectors and what's for kids.

So...are you saying Hasbro is intending the 50th anniversary toys to be marketed towards kids?
