As you can see Bob has Shipwreck's body with Cobra Soldier legs and harness (Just like Crankcase) Also I'd like you to notice that no alterations other than paint have been done to this figure (Oddly enought the pants matched perfectly) The AWE-Striker is also a vintage AWE-Striker with the only issue being it's missing the steering link bar (Anyone have one? ) Here's Bob sitting in the AWE-Striker: Looks like he fits, but......

The pegs on that hiss look too far back for where the holes are on the 25th figures. standing on your toes all day hurts your arches.

I'm trying to understand HASBRO's logic on this whole "SHARC" thing. Follow me on this.
Inside Hasbro's think tank: Thinker 1: "Let's rename the "SHARC" and release it as a plane." Thinker 2: "Are we going to retool it to have landing gear?" Thinker 1: "Nope." Thinker 2: "Okay, so that means that it can only land/take-off from water. Shouldn't we release is it as the same type of vehicle it was designed to be?" Thinker 1: "We'll just put such an emphasis on that it's a plane that maybe no one will notice." Thinker 2: "Sounds good to me." (This, of course, is only my opinion. I have no idea if this how it really happened.) Now I've got no problem with it being released as a plane. I wanted one as a kid and planned on splitting it's time between the air and water anyway. But to promote it as only a plane but not give it the appropriate equipment to fully function as one, come on Hasbro. Even the CLAW, which was used a jetpack, had wheels. |

Keep in mind though-there never was a plan to release vehilces for the 25th line, correct? We did not get that announcement until Hasbro saw how well-received the 25th series was. Easier to make figures than vehilces I would assume.
The Sharc-there was a seen where it was shown dicing into the water from the area. It could land on water though couldn't it? Or have they specifially mentione dthta it isn't for use as a water attack vehicle. Where the heck does Grand Slam fit into that anyway?? |
