I get you. And FWIW I am not all-in or anywhere near it on this one. I went Valhalla on the Valkyries and that was a stretch for me (which is why I sold 20-something of those slots to other 'Tankers).
If you plan to spend the total $279 anyway, and you are super into bumping the live KS total (not that you need to be) you could theoretically create a second KS account under another email to throw the wife off of the scent. I assume that would create two separate payments on the old credit card. That is a great idea creating 2 accounts, actually you save $9 buying 12 figures that way. Sadly, it's not about the amount, but the timing. The wife balance the check book and bank account about once a month. Spreading $279 into 2 different months is the key of flying below the radar. |

Its one of those scenarios where its hard to gauge whether the pressure was exhausted just by reaching the Agency - that right there is a big get for a lot of folks. For me - Dogs, Agency, Contract were the main gets and the Exo Suits are less of something for me but I can make them work. The issue being I'd probably shift up a notch but the shift up actually causes me to have to purchase more with the weapon sets so the gain in figure ends up being about 3 more figures of desire for $150 additional from all-in.
Its always tough to judge where to be at these but as always with marauders, more than any other - I do feel like I get the most value per dollar. Quote:
I dunno, I think we might be in for quite a surge this evening as people get home from work and see the Suits unlocked.
I had guesstimated that the Gunmetal Exo-Suit would be where we end up. But of course I'd love it if we made it further. The last "Contract Ops" figure ($196K) is pretty much my "happy spot" too simply because that means all the "new" pieces are getting made in the kickstarter. |

Just a jest of kicks in general....Not a knock on Marauder, they are top notch.

I think we'll break $200k. I honestly don't have much doubt of that. But $220k? I'm not so sure, at least the way things are stagnating right now. I think we are overdue for some hot new updates from MJ and that might have something to do with the sluggishness. You have to get people amped up enough to make a decision to get in on these now, rather than being content to wait until they are in the MGR store. Part of that is showing the basket of accessories they come with (to excite their sense of bargain/value) and part of that is showing them what the final product will look like (to get them excited about the appearance of the product).
Honestly, it was pretty apparent even last night that we were going to unlock the agency ops today. But it looks like MJ wasn't ready to reveal the "surprise" Val stretch goal that was supposed to follow that unlock. And we haven't seen a paint master for anything. And we haven't seen weapon prototypes. And we haven't seen color renders of each exo-suit variety (which should be a simple task for the 3D artists to whip up). And we haven't seen a 3D render of the contract ops at all (even in black and white). We need some "sexy" images to stir up discussion and goose the pledges. I hope MJ knows what he is doing with the timing of these updates!

How do I pledge 'pick any 6' twice so I can pick 12? And does that count for unlocked figures or are they separate?

As a first timer buying Marauder figures from a Kickstarter, to any veteran buyers have any recommendations or regrets from previous kickstarters? I'm happy with my six figure purchase, I'm just waiting to see what all gets unlocked before picking them, plus any extras.

Also, generally speaking, I've purchased a lot of MTF male figures over the past couple of years and they are great figures, as are the female ("Valkyires") figures. The quality is good and the customization options are amazing.
