If Strato-Ops gets unlocked, then I can have my Centurions. If not, I'm dropping to just the doggies again.

I meant more as a "Mayhem pledge level includes all this, plus 50 items of your choice." I just think there's some confusion about whether the bonus items mirror the all-in exactly, or not. Specifically, whether it includes a free Weapon Set #8 and the original three items, or if it just includes all the stretch goals unlocked and the Arsenal Weapon Set. I tried asking Marauder in the Kickstarter comments, but he must've missed my question.

SO I think basically its a partial all-in without the original 3 items and the #8 weapon set(I think). I agree that it would be awesome to get that confirmed

I think its actually neither of those. It is just stretch goals according to the backer entry: 1 (ONE) of EACH UNLOCKED Stretch Goal item added for FREE to their reward package (Marauder GR Series #8 is NOT added for free to the package)!

The Mayhem level does apparently include the Arsenal Weapon Set though (as stated in its pledge description level), which isn't technically a stretch goal, so it'd be very helpful if it could be clarified. As more and more stretch goals get unlocked, it's entirely possible that the All-In actually becomes a better deal than the Mayhem pledge level. It's not that likely, but if the all-in gets up to 31 items (which would require another 11 stretch goals get unlocked), it'll be $12.87/item. Mayhem level at that point would be 77 items, which would be $12.92/item. I'm just surprised that more incentive (besides being able to choose 50 items yourself) isn't being given to such a huge pledge tier.
I imagine, in some ways, MJ and Co. are taking a hit by not forcing people into Exo Suits and K9s.

I think why I'm still confused is that they did an un-armored look with, I think, rolled up sleeves for the heavy gunner figure from the MTF Valkyries campaign a year or so ago. Yes, as far as I can tell, that is the ONLY version of that sculpt they have released. I thought by now they would be producing that sculpt in multiple colors instead of continuing on with the same armored sculpt they've been using for the past 2-3 years. Or am I misunderstanding something?
As to why they continue to offer the figure with the shin guards, I think what the previous poster was trying to say when talking about the "tooling" is, and I could be completely wrong, but I think this is how it works: They created an initial mold for the full body, which included the armored shins and forearms for the first Kickstarter. This mold or "tool" means when the plastic is injected into the mold, we get all the pieces in that mold. When we requested the unarmored pieces, they created a separate mold and tooling without a torso, since they already had a mold for a torso that didn't need to be modified. They can then offer the unarmored pieces separately. It's just the nature of how molds are made. To create an entirely new mold/tool with the unarmored pieces together with the torsos would create a much higher expense for Marauder.

I love the centurion idea, that would be really neat. Fingers crossed on the stratos viper!
The more I think about it, the more excited I am about the stratos viper. That color combo has a lot of parts potential for anything needing blue. Plus I just got a parts kit to make a Dum Dum Dugan and classic Fury, so I need shield agents to back them up.

I think one of the underlying "problems" with this KS is that it seems a fair amount of people aren't as interested in the EXO suit and the K9s as were in the original figures and then the Vals. So, pick 50 is kind of incentivized by the fact that it allows you to forgo those new products, which are the impetus of the KS to begin with.
I imagine, in some ways, MJ and Co. are taking a hit by not forcing people into Exo Suits and K9s. As for the dogs, they are brilliant and I imagine getting a couple. The problem I have is they are very German Shepard like, which limits how many I want. Right now I want one for Order, and one for cobra guards and I am done. Not really something I want to army build If a wolf head gets unveiled, than I will want more for a fantasy diorama to go with the Boss Fight fantasy. Plus Timber
