Marauders have said if that occurs, they will adjust what you receive to make it comparable. Whether that mean you choose the extra pieces or they do, it's not said, but I would guess given their history of incredible customer service, you won't be disappointed.

I was only pledged for $1 until the 20-rifle package opened up and the suits were announced. Now I'm in for a set of rifles and 3 add-ons. Prior to that, I wasn't inclined to back for anything, and I haven't cared for the repaints on offer. I like the contract ops figure, but it's already funded. Same with the basic dog. I felt no need to pledge. Part of me wonders how much company I have in that camp. My "doom and gloom" side thinks maybe we already have about as many backers as we should expect. But then I think back on the Vals campaign which was also sluggish around this time and had a good surge at the end. That gives me hope that more people are way into the basic offerings in this kickstarter. Hopefully enough so to get those rassafracking suits unlocked!

Yeah, the Agency Ops officially broke me. Pledged all-in (helped by the fact that I had a bunch of eBay purchases bounce back on me when a seller vanished, so I suddenly had $250 extra in the budget)
One question - can someone figure out how the All-in works if, say, this only crosses the $170K mark? That would only equate to 16 figures by my math, but that's a bit below the per-figure rate of the pick-six package. So would a couple extra be thrown in? That's what the all-in seems to imply. As an alternative, if you know someone who is also interested you could pair up and split a "mayhem" package, where you get 50 of your choice plus one free of each unlock. The bargain is definitely better defined there, regardless of outcome.

All they need to do is sell matching shirt or jacket sleeves. A removable jacket gives that many more options: open, closed, with a vest, single or double breasted, military dress uniform, etc. I think the Legion XIV kickstarter that didn't fund had the right idea on how to make this modular. MJ would make a killing selling the parts to go with a bodies designed like this.
The other thing is posability. A separate jacket will look more natural when posed with the figure turned at the waist than one with a swivel joint running through the jacket itself.

It wouldn't be hard to design the peg in such a way that facilitates arm swaps, and any decent two handed rifle stance requires a good bit of torso twist.

It's not difficult to pop a MTF torso open. Don't screw with arm peg designs, just let people pop and customize. That's what they are for!

Apologies if it was confusing. I just mean the torso part of the coat would be rubber. The way most coats on figures are, and it would go on the same way any of their removable vests do. The arms would be sculpted coat sleeves.

The All-in as it stands now, with the extra "Arsenal" 20 gun weapon set, also the Exo suits accessory sets are added automatically to every Exo suit unlocked!
As of posting this we are only 7 backers away from the special: "500 Backer" WHITE EXO-SUIT Stretch Goal. And $2458 away from the BLACK K9 POLICE DOG UNIT Stretch Goal. I'm thinking I'm going to have to update this very soon. After the "500 Backer" and the BLACK K9 gets unlocks, price drop is $36.00 per set. Doing the math for just one of the figures, makes it a steal if you look at all the individual parts! Tech Ops Valyries: Head: $1.99 T-shirt torso: $4.99 Gloves: $2.79 Legs and waist: $6.99 Halfshell helmet: $2.49 NVG: $1.49 Modular backpack: $2.49 camel hydration pack: $1.99 Rifle sheeth: $2.49 Pouch deluxe set: $3.29 Baseballcap: $1.29 Helmet microphone: $0.99 Hood: $2.49 large goggles: $0.99 large neckscarf: $0.99 LWH combat helmet: $2.49 Tactical helmet: $2.49 Knuckle knife: $1.59 C4: $0.59 C4 detonator: $0.39 Radio: $0.99 Pistol holster: $0.99 C-clip: $0.29 Utility vest: $3.49 Armor vest: $3.49 Shin armor: $1.99 Shotgunshell clip: $0.39 Bullet cartridge clip: $0.39 Smooth panel: $0.29 Total: $57,61 Last edited by haradrel; 09-14-2017 at 02:55 PM.. |
