I don't think anybody knew anything in advance. This is a really nice run of action figures with a lot of variety. However, there have been quite a bit of running changes from the Mock-Ups to the Final Production figures that were never mentioned. Being a customizer, I'd like for the Final Production figures to stay as close to the Mock-Up designs as possible since I base my Pledge amount on the variety of colors and styles of the accessories.

As great as they’ll be for customs, I do believe that unlike the previous marauder lines, this one’s main goal is to be WWII figures, not for customs.

My biggest complaint with MGR webgear is closing the buttons on the various pieces. This does make it a little harder to use with say, GI Joe, when you can't just pop the figure apart at the torso, but I can probably find a work around. Or not, not every piece of gear works on every figure.

Random in that all of the heads for a specific figure will be the same color, but possibly different from backer to backer. For instance, I got six German Infantry (early war) with six red-headed sculpts whereas someone else may have gotten the same number of that figure, but ended up getting six blonde or six black haired heads instead. That said, the colors I received matched up exactly figure to figure with what Jason (jlw515) got in his Pick 12. So MGR probably had a pretty regimented system for each figure type.

In this regard, the Contract/K9 KS was a little better in that the more Contract-Ops figures you backed, the more variety in hair-color you received. Case in point, I backed 12 Ops figures and received two each of the six hair colors, basically an even split. So ideally, if you backed six of any one figure, you’d get one each of all six hair-colors for that particular headsculpt, and not six of one color. Oh well, I’m jazzed either way.

Quick question. Concerning the German eagle decals(circled in the picture), is the larger version for the hat, and the smaller for the tunic? Or vice versa?
