That is a crazy glue story!
I’ve been using the Gorilla Glue Brush & Nozzle type bottle and getting great results. If I wipe the brush almost clean on the tube before using it I end up with a perfect amount.

It works and that’s my current choice if any of the new ones don’t work.

Man I even got glue that either doesn't bind to skin or is supposed to have a delayed bond to skin when I got the bottle with a brush.
To give a idea of how my figure building works I recently ordered two right handed pistol holsters and got a right and left instead. I almost immediately got a idea for a left handed female sniper because I also had a French braid head that I had no idea what to use it for. And after the left handed sniper idea popped into my head I picked the parts out in no time. After putting the figure together I even had a code name and real name instantly. I have a feeling I should have went with Gorilla glue with the brush considering it was not only Crazy Glue that burst in my hand and was leaking in the package of the bottle with a brush.

I use Tamiya extra thin cement. Glass bottle, brush applicator. Takes a while to cure so you can change your mind, but once it cures it's on tight like it's one piece.
