The jacket is not a tube. It's already "open" so once the tabs are free from the torso you just take it off as you would an Indiana Jones jacket (stick the arms out back, peel the jacket off). To switch torsos you will have to crack the torsos or live with sleeves that are the wrong color. No way to switch arms without cracking the torsos, but that step was easy for both torsos I cracked for my swap.

Here's an easy brand extension for MTF that would be easy to execute. Only a little bit of kitbashing/redecoing involved. Public Domain Golden Age Superheroes re-imagined as a modern day fighting force, for lack of a better term, "Liefeld-ized" with lots of MTF pouches and gear. I could see the patriotic heroes being an easy group to create, again, "Liefeld-ized." BFS could easily do the Golden Age versions as well.
Make it a figure of the month club or something: Al Bruno III's Internet Tomfoolery: How about some awesome public domain superheroes? Another possible avenue would be to "Liefeld-ize" LXG, the League of Extraordinary Gentleman Public Domain Universe; especially with the new upcoming WWII molds. Actually, I could see such any such product being attractive to retail, not just online sales. I don't know if this is a billion dollar idea, but it is a stable stream of revenue idea that could extend the utility and reach of the exisitng MTF mold library. |

What do you mean? MTF is already doing it? Or another company is making such a line? The beauty of Public Domain is that anyone can do anything with it, but the MTF "Liefeld-ized" versions will be the copyrighted and owned characters of MTF.

There was a line planned, but I think the creators are waiting for other projects to be delivered first.
I think a few of those characters could be kitbashed with MTF and Boss Fight parts. |

Yeah, they for sure could. That is why it should happen, there is no reason to have yet another line from yet another dodgy company when it can already be done with established reliable firms.
