Are the Brown Contract Ops from NJCC going to be available on the site?
Are there any other “exclusives” that’ll be on the site?

Whoa. That's a nice surprise to wake up to. Thank you, stljoe.
Go pick up the novel and familiarize yourself with Wrath before the figures become available. Those of you who grew up reading Larry Hama's G.I. Joe comics are going to appreciate the world that is being created. https://www.marauderinc.com/product-p/mtf-novel-001.htm |

Does anyone know how to take the suit coat off of the agency ops figures without cutting it open? Can you take the arms off at the shoulders? I've never tried.

I think Zap has successfully done this and chronicled it somewhere.

It'd be pretty tricky. You can't pop the torso without moving the coat. And it's glued. So, you'd need to first cut between the jacket and body to separate them completely. Then heat the jacket and roll it up the body and arms, which runs the risk of tearing the coat.
I think Zap has successfully done this and chronicled it somewhere. If MJ stops having these factory glued it will be positively trivial to remove and replace the jackets, but I suspect he resorted to gluing for a reason. Hopefully I'm wrong about that and the next batch will be glue-free, but I think he must have been having trouble with keeping the jackets from popping open. Still, even if that's true and glue is a requirement, I'd rather have that left to the customer to handle at home after customization has been completed. There are some photos of the de-jacketed torso in my post here: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/5176839-post4807.html That shows the aftermath of the difficult-to-remove jacket. To be honest, that one probably went worse than it had to because I was still probing to discover the underlying structure in the first place so some bad moves were made on this one that won't be made in the future now that I know how the attachment is done. The other one went much more smoothly and I swapped the black jacket onto the red tie torso. I don't think I have ever taken or posted photos of the result though. Guilty. The police keep telling me it's inappropriate but I can't keep all this goodness contained, especially at the bus station.

The suit jacket can be removed, but it's not easy since it's factory glued in place. The arms do NOT boil/pop out or anything like that. Just like the rest of the MTF shoulders, they're a peg and disc attachment so you will have to crack the torso.
The jacket won't need to be rolled up or even cut. It already has an opening at the front. The jacket has two rectangular pegs on the inside (one on each flap) that plug into the "skinny" torso, so once you "unplug" those pegs from the torso the hard part is all over with. To do that, I used a jeweler's screwdriver set of flathead screwdrivers and carefully pried the pegs out of the torso. Depending on how thoroughly your jacket has been glued, this might be pretty quick and easy (one of mine was) or it could be tedious and lead to some damage of the jacket (which is how the other one I did went). I did a hot water bath before each prying session on my second attempt which might have helped, but for sure the second one had a lot less glue as well which DEFINITELY helped. In any case, be prepared to break a couple of eggs on this project because it can happen. If MJ stops having these factory glued it will be positively trivial to remove and replace the jackets, but I suspect he resorted to gluing for a reason. Hopefully I'm wrong about that and the next batch will be glue-free, but I think he must have been having trouble with keeping the jackets from popping open. So after you got the underlying tabs dislodged, you were able to slide the jacket over the shoulders without cutting the jacket open? Did you have to heat it before removing it? I want to paint the tie red, or swap with the red tie torso. I don't want to crack the torso if I don't have to. Thanks.
