MJ answered my comment on Facebook concerning the sonic welding, but still didn't address the issue with the waist socket. I'm just going to assume that from this point forward all other figures will have the updated T-Bar. Who knows. I guess we'll find out this summer when the WWII figures release.
Someone received a Contractor Ops that wasn't welded correctly. So he submitted a picture of a split torso. Hopefully this link will post here Jason |

Not familiar with sonic welding, does anyone here know what the process involves?

What’s wrong is that it’s not “some Amazons,” it’s the entire female line-up from a range of what are ostensibly supposed to be, and have been, generic body-types. Making every last female within that range a 6’2”+ (and yet oddly twiggy) near-giantess just doesn’t fit the theme, and severely reduces their utility.

Out of curiosity, do you have photos of how this looks? Right now, I am using vals for most of my female joes and they are just too tall (especially when almost all of them are that height.

The tan shirt looks great with the tan pants/boots. Did you also put the black shirt with the black pants/boots? That is the first thing I am going to do when I get these figures. I think the all black with the black knit hat will look tremendous.

no picture but it does look good. I wish we had a blue torso because it would ake a much better trooper shirt IMO

I mean the whole concept to their product line is to be able to easily swap parts out without having to make any permanent, customizing changes to the figure. I just think they've lost that a bit with how the Contractor Ops parts interchange with older MTF parts. Seems to me, to get the parts to work correctly, you'll have to settle for a more permanent custom figure.
My two cents. Jason
