I know it is a riff on green plastic army men, but the jeep just looks too much like the sort of thing you, well, buy in a plastic bag or in a bin of toys at woolworth's. Saying that, the last pic with the four figs posed in the jeep showcases the awesome poseability of these figures. And, I like the "modular" construction of the jeep, ie, the steering wheel can go on the other side for Japan and UK countries that drive on the wrong side. A lot of real Jeeps, and other vehicles too, are designed so that the passenger and driver side can be swapped (no, not easily in your garage, but in building-dashboard is the same width as the passenger side airbag cover etc,).

This whole line looks cool, but what's the plastic quality/durability like?

Very good actually. Joints are super tight, main plastic is solid, tons of multi-function joints. The hands are super well done - rubber-like in nature, they open up and wrap around any weapon you put in there, rarely drop or pop out once in. I so wish Hasbro would utilize something like that for Joe down the road.
