They look good, but the only ones I know i'll get for sure are the Gung-Ho/Shadow Guard and Blowtorch/Croc Master. The rest I can skip and not feel badly about, though every 2-pack is at least a maybe in my book. Gung-Ho looks great and I am delighted that there will finally be a great version of him out there that does not need to be customized. Shadow Guard could accompany my custom version and the vest could be useful. The repainted Blowtorch can replace the 50th version I have and including Croc Master for my collection could be nice to join my ROC Night Adder.
Shipwreck/CC I can skip because I already at least one version of both. However, if I change my mind, they'd make nice custom fodder. I don't need Spirit since I have my own custom version and was not really as much of a fan of the 1988 version of SS as the original. If I change my mind, this version of Spirit could replace the one in my collection and this Storm Shadow could be used as some Yakuza assassin(imagining that Yakuza use black/gray and white). I'm not a big fan of Steel Brigade, even though I have two of them in my collection, though having a third one wouldn't be that bad. The Iron Grenadier, on the other hand, looks appealing with the camouflage, and could be good custom fodder potential as well.

Since CC comes with SW I'll use the extra Shipwreck (have to get 2 to keep one set untouched-for posterity)as a custom 50th Outback. sure the lower legs are all wrong but I can live with that. Not sure why Hasbro won't give us the 30th lower legs in green aside from the camo'ed set from Stalker. If next year's Sub outback head sculpt is good I'll get a second and paint it (I'm assuming the sub Outback will have white hair?) If It isn't good or it won't work with that torso I'll just paint Shippy to a ginger and paint the hat olive. I can see Outback donning a wool watch cap.

I'll get them all and multiples of the troop builders, but why did they do Shadow Guard w/ Gung-Ho? They got the IG trooper w/ SB, so why did they f that up? Guess I'll have a lot of Gung Ho's on hand.

The package art looks good! Good job Hasbro! We just need more of those 50th Anniversary style unproduced figures! I have a feeling we will get them; just not as fast as we would like sometimes! We still need these 50th style figures made:
(..I know some of these can come thru the Club or the movie toy lines too) or updates: Duke v1, Roadblock, Clutch in tan, Ace in Sunbow cartoon pilot uniform, Cobra Officer (..concept case), Major Bludd, Scarlett, Doc, Wild Bill, the Baroness, Ripcord, Scrap-Iron, Deep Six fully articulated, Tele-Vipers (..concept case), Buzzer, Ripper and Torch, MonkeyWrench, Serpentor, Crystal Ball, Raptor, Marine dress Gung-Ho, Tunnel Rat, Cobra-La, the Fridge (..there is probably some licensing or copyright issues holding this up), Hydro-Viper, Secto Viper, Outback, Tundra Stalker v2, Ambush, Bullhorn, Heavy Duty, Roadblock v4. I'd like to take his left thigh, well I guess both thighs actually, and donate them to a black DG Cobra Officer for a more accurate Cobra Officer (albeit in black). I really like the thigh dagger on this Ret Cobra Commander mold and IF we ever get a CV true blue Cobra Officer I'd plead that Hasbro deviate to the thigh dagger for the upper legs. The 30th leg mold looks great on Joes and pretty cool on the Cobra Trooper too but I like the creepy, evil, old world feel that the leg dagger gives the Cobra troopers/officers. It went well with the colonial era abandon castle/Spanish fort vibe that Cobra had going in the early Marvel line.

I just hope Cobrastickers makes a "Survival" decal to put on the chest.

Has anyone heard anything about when preorders will be available? I'd really like to preorder through BBTS again.

I really dig that Gung-Ho and will be picking up that pack for sure. I'm so glad to see new Joe packs hitting the stores after so long!

OK. I've been taking a closer look at these and I'm thinking I'm going to pick up the Gung-Ho and Storm Shadow sets. They look much more faithful to their vintage original counterparts than the earlier 25th Anniversary releases.
