Hmmm....this will be hard for me to back. If Joe goes 6 inch, I might pick and choose, but 6 inch is not a scale I'm interested in really. So this would have to be official 6 inch Joes for me to get into. Should make cool figures for the Marvel Legends guys at least - SHIELD troopers and Hand Ninjas.

A new web page and facebook page have been created to help promote an upcoming kickstarter for Cryptid Toys. The new page show turns for an upcoming 6-inch Swat figure and 6-inch Ninja that looks just like a Storm Shadow we have already seen in the G.I. Joe line-up.
We have reached out to Cryptid Toys to find out more information on who is involved in the project and how their program will work. When we hear back from them we will be glad to pass that information along. Until then enjoy the speculation and images for their upcoming 6-inch action figure line. https://www.facebook.com/cryptidtoys Cryptid Toys This site may help: 6" Army Builder Line: SWAT and Soldier sculpts pg.8 • Page 10 • General Population: The General Toys Talk Forum • |

Not interested.
I am a GI Joe collector. The bulk of my action figure collection is GI Joe. I do purchase figures and vehicles from other series (Marvel, Star Wars, True heroes, etc.) but only figures and vehicles that I feel are compatible with my ideal Joeverse. GI Joe currently does not have a six inch line so this new Kickstarter has no appeal to me whatsoever. Even I Hasbro did decide to make a six inch line for GI Joe I doubt that I would be interested in spending the amount on money it would take to add no Joe figures to my collection should I decide to support the scale. I would rather see Hasbro bring back Sigma Six eight inch figures than make a six inch line. At least the Sigma six figures had great play value for kids, a lot more child friendly than the current Star wars six inch series. It is nice of Hasbro to do things for the collectors but I would prefer if they would focus on getting more kids back into GI Joe. It would be better for all Joe collectors in the long run. |

I'm interested, just don't know if the funds will be there for me when this hits. I love the generic troop look, so these would be tight up my alley. I do collect some of the SW black line and very few of the marvel legends. So the scale doesn't bother me.

the seemingly direct upsizing of the ss mold and the fact that there are practically no comments anywhere on their fb page seems shady. someone called them out for the ninja being stiorm shadow like 2 days ago and no reply from the people that run the page? sketchy

Transformers fans have third party companies designing the toys that Hasbro will not. While it would not be that much different for Joe collectors, I cannot see this in my collection. A mass produced third party Snake Eyes is something that would be interesting but it would not 'fit' with the rest of the stuff.
I want to see Hasbro start a 6" line and then for third party companies to start producing their own version of figures that Hasbro will not. Like I said, it is already done with the Transformers. |

That ninja looks awfully familiar. They could run into some trouble with that one.
