Someone at Hasbro has a serious Bromance going on with Wild Bill. It has to be that one guy who gets to say "hey, we have this space in these waves coming up and we need a pilot for that tank over there. Let's use Wild Bill again!"
Sure he's a fun character in his own right and all but damn, let's take a few years off from giving out wild bill figures. Including this one, he will have had 11 versions since 2000. That's about 8 too many. Esp. when he's only came with a helicopter twice, including this one if it comes out. |

Got some weird proportions, but overall I like it. Nice to see a Dragonfly with some means of counter rotation. I don't like Resolute Wild Bill's floppy hat. I already have the single card and comic pack versions of 25th Bill. One of them, can fly this chopper.

why not just re-release a sigma 6 Dragonhawk into a 3 3/4 seater.

Now that's a Great Idea!!! This Dragonfly looks smaller than the original. The sculpting looks nice and should fit well with other new resolute designs but the proportion is terrible.

why in the hell are people clamoring for this? It's pathetic. Hasbro is going backwards in the way they should.
I mean, it's utter crap. Have they not learned from all the crappy lines prior to this? PTE makes better stuff than this. |

i've been pretty happy with some of the new releases lately. i love the new night raven, it doesn't bother me with the updates. nothing will replace the original. most things don't when it comes with anything. however, if this is the new dragonfly then bah! good god, let's go back in time hasbro and fully embrace v vs v and spy-troops. all of their best vehicle designers are gone, so long Ron Rudek, we miss you.
the wild william complaints are long heard by now, but WTF! retire that cowboy to a ranch in texas already, the constitution has! you miss a perfectly good opportunity to repaint wild weasel as skystriker and give us a cowboy for a jet pilot and now the copter pilot he is. the copter is a fang at best, with the photo i see. the apache chopper i've seen on this thread is far superior, i am afraid. total bummer. they are turning in c+ work before their finale, imho. |
