The Alpine was a figure I had written off buying, much like low-light due to their secondary market prices. Thanks to the 50th, I have low light and will now get Alpine. There if a fundemtal problem with the people not happy about the re-releases. It is my estimation that these very people are amongst those how hoarded figures like Alpine, Lowlight and Shock Troopers and made a pretty penny off collectors, including fellow Tankers, and are now pissed. Just a thought. I like just about every offering of the 20 new figures because frankly, I want or need them all to fill holes in my collection. From vehicles to figures, I feel Habro did great. For those comparing this new run for 2015 to The Club's FSS I have this to say. The club still scraps together parts to make the figures they produce. BFS helps with new head sculpts, but ultimately you are paying $25-35 for each figure (more on the secondary market), and that is absurd. Stop whining about new sculpts unless you really want Habro to make first run sculpts and charge club prices. That is what it would cost more than likely. I'd rather troop build at $14.99 for 2 figures than pay $35 for the Club exclusives per figure. You know what my blue Bazooka and a club exclusive have in common? They have both never been produced except I can get Bazooka, 2 other figures and a troop builder pack
For the cost of your Frankenstein figs from the club. My figures will be exclusive to my collection.....good enough for me! Quote:
I agree a trillion percent with everything you just said. I am going to LOVE seeing Alpine prices on ebay tumble ( Just like Low light did) and the type of lowlifes who try to make their money on toy flipping stuck with having to deal with selling or trading them as what they are ... a 7 buck action figure.

I'm betting the people whom "made a killing" by hoarding and then selling their Alpines and LowLights and Shocktroopers are all sold out by now. They are living in their mansions on sofas made of Panda skin rubbing their hands together thinking: "Now is the time to unload the Emitter"

I'm sure they will- all of Hasbro's stuff- Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel, etc.- has been made out of lower-quality plastic for the past 2 years or so. :(

Glad to see someone else is worrying about this! I'm planning to wait until multiple reliable reviewers and fans start getting these figures in hand and report on the plastic, before laying down dollars for any of it. Even Gung-Ho. Yes, it has come to this. No more preorders for me.
