On Facebook someone mentioned that the GI Joe 6 inch line is 100% blog talk and wishful thinking. Nothing has been confirmed by Hasbro that they are actually making these.

Well, regardless, I'd still like to see it.

I dunno. I like vehicles too, but I'm pretty happy with what's available in the vintage and 25th/Modern Era lines, to the point where I don't really have room for new ones, lol.
I can only imagine how big vehicles would be for a 6" line... Not to mention expensive. Aside from maybe a RAM or something, I don't think I need 'em.

Some caveats I feel need to be remembered: As a rumor, this is not a guarantee of something happening. I feel if DESTRO posted it, there is a solid grain of truth to it, but plans can and do change. People need to stop treating rumors as gospel I have serious doubts of anyone actively associated with Hasbro posting on Facebook should be taken as a 100% either. NOBODY working for Hasbro right now is apt to share any major plans that may be in development (y'know, job security). Everything is rumor and speculation until Hasbro OFFICIALLY announces it (even if it is obvious thing happening). I mean, even having a toyline for GI Joe 3 should still be considered a rumor, even though we pretty well know it's going to happen. And most importantly, plans change. We've seen it with every toyline Hasbro has done. Hasbro showed a new Droid Factory branding for Star Wars in 2012 at SDCC. 6 months later at Toy Fair, Droid Facotry is scrapped, and the entire brand is revamped splitting into Black and Saga Legends (with 5 PoA at that). Hasbro planned for Resolute to be a major marketing thrust in 2009. It was curtailed to support the live action GI Joe film. Hasbro planned to follow up Valor vs Venom with Robot REbellion (reportedly some designers even bringing concept work for some figures to Joecon 2004, including assets for Buzzer and talk of a new SHARC), within 6 months, effectively scrapped to focus on Sigma Six and its 8" format.

What Steevy said.
Besides, let's say a 6" Snake Eyes is made, that doesn't automatically signal an entire 6" G.I. Joe line. Hasbro could cobble up a 6" SE out of Marvel Legends parts easy enough for it to be cost-effective as an exclusive release of some sort. It's conceivable it could show up as a one-and-done SDCC exclusive. So, bottom line, best to temper the speculation. There's no sense getting all hepped up--and then butt-hurt--over wild hopes that don't come to pass. Wait and see, enjoy what you have now. |

Agreed. While I'd love to see some well-done 6" GI Joe figures, I won't believe it till I actually see it. And not on the Internet, but in my hands.
