Personally although all the designs were cool, I didn't plan to really incorporate an entire universe of superheroes into my figures world, but I did want stuff that I could incorporate into the EF world, or other Joeverse like Jon Sable, the Henchmen, and so on. So someday I still hope to see that AH design stuff return to being offered. Right now EF is my main want and desire to get off the ground.

Did not yet see this posted here. Is the latest KS backer update from FMF. It must be hell having to deal with those factory issues, but it looks like things are slowly but surely getting back on track.
Keep up the good work Bill, I for one still believe in you and Eagle Force! "Hey everyone The new factory was able to test the tooling..see images. We can confirm that these tools are the latest tools and match the test shots we recived last yet. There was some minor damage to the arm tools so those are getting fixed right now. We are still waiting on a list of un-manufactured parts from Tiandeng Liu. We know that 90% of the parts have been manufactured and are at the assembly factory. Without this list we are unable to determine what additional parts need to be manufactured to finalize & completely deliver all needed parts to the assembly factory. We contiune to reach out to Tiandeng Liu daily, but he does not respond. Chris our project manager will be in China next week and is sceduling time to meet with Tiandeng Liu and the assembly factory to see how we can get this project back on track. So expect more updates to follow. Eagle Island play sets update. Quick update from D&J Toys I haven't updated because of the seemingly endless bad luck. When I had posted the original images with the play mat, I had printed out another version I originally was thinking to use. There was a change though and I forgot that. I was ready to go with the other one and had started to run them as is. It was about to ship that week. When I stopped and changed to the idea that is suppose to go out though, the printer started making the image too light. I did a sample idea just to get a good look at it then messed with the printer to try and get it to give me a better print. Well, I ended up replacing parts and trying to get it working right when it just totally screwed up on me. This isn't a little inkjet printer, it's a big printer and I've been using it for a lot of things over the last 12 years. It has a rail inside that a plastic carriage rides as it prints. The tabs that rest on the rail had been rubbing down without me really noticing and they finally broke off. So anyway, the images you see are the attempts to make it work and it's just not going to. I am now in the process of getting a new printer. So that's where the hold back is right now. As soon as I get something, I'll be immediately printing the mats and start shipping. It's just been such a pain with it being one thing or the other. At least on the other side of the tunnel, maybe it'll be years of everything that I've had to replace working and I'll get to finally produce everything without all these problems. I'll post when the first one goes out. I would guess a week from now, or maybe the following week. It's just going to depend on getting the new printer and how quick I figure out all the settings and such. It's again not going to be just a small desktop printer. You can follow these update at D&J Toys’s Facebook page. I’ll send along the status in our next update. Once they get their printer fixed, they’ll be able to print the play mats and we can start shipping. Thanks FMF" |

From what I understand, D&J is shipping out Eagle Island playsets starting now! I am super excited and can't wait for it to arrive.

Great news in the most recent update (sorry - you’ll have to view images on the original post itself):
Kickstarter Posted by Bill Murphy Nov 16, 2019 Hey everyone Here is the latest news on the factory front. Over the last couple weeks our Project Mgr Chris (who is in China as I type this) and his team have begun to pull back the layers around why this project has been stalled. It seems that Tiandeng Liu sub-contracted most of this project to other factories, this is not new information but the details became very clear as Tiandeng Liu started to discuss the challenges with Chris and he mentioned what Tiandeng Liu referred to as "The Fat Man" (I cannot make this stuff up, even if I wanted too) . Anyway it seems the "The Fat Man" is the one that controls all the subcontracting work, and this is why this project is stalled. Tiandeng Liu and Fat Man had a falling out and The Fat Man has not prioritized this project over other jobs he has on his plate. Tiandeng Liu was never honest about this which is why all kept telling us unrealistic timelines. With all that said, we have some exciting news to report. Chris and his team have been able to acquire all the manufactured pieces and packaging from both Tiandeng Liu and The Fat Man. See images. So what are next steps? Chris and his team have to make sense of everything they have recovered. It's like doing a 1000 piece puzzle without having the box to reference what it's suppose to look like when its done. They have the pieces, paint tools and the samples, now they need to make sense of it. I'm sure parts will be missing or need to be redone or reworked, we don't even know all the parts were manufactured, it's a mess. All that said, at least it's moving ahead and I'm 100% confident that they will be able to make sense of it all over the next few weeks. After years of working with Tiandeng Liu he is finally in our rear window. This was yet another huge step forward to getting this project back on track. I can't say enough how grateful I am to Chris and his team. This would not have happened without them. More to come. Last edited by Dod Ear; 11-17-2019 at 07:44 AM.. |

Good positive update. Glad there was a mention of Eagle Force wave 2. Hopefully after this factory nightmare the line can advance and even grow.

Thanks for the update Bill!!! Hopefully, all the pieces are there and you can get closer to the finish line.
I wonder if Tiendang Lue's nickname is Jake.
