MTF figs are a bit tall. I love them but I have no issue with the size of EF.

Damn, they take their New Year seriously. I keep hearing left and right about their annual complete and total shut down.

Appreciate the input from Fresh Monkey. In my opinion the samples look fantastic. Really looking forward to early next year.
Question on scale: Fair point regards comparison to other lines, Eagle force is its own line after all, but are we still at 4” scale? Or is it now closer to 3 3/4”? Not a deal breaker for me regardless, these guys will likely be displayed carded, or at least in their own part of the man-cave. |

As a buyer for a hydraulics firm that purchases millions of dollars of parts from China, I can tell you the Chinese shutdown is complete and absolute. There is nothing being done in that time, and when they get back from their month off (to go home, visit family, etc) it takes a while to ramp up and get containers of product out the door and to the docks. We have to seriously plan around about a two month interruption of product, and try to forecast for spring use in agriculture and manufacturing. This last year tore everyone a new ass in the industry due to the sales (our largest sales year ever is this year).

So here is the scale images. As you can see they are shorter...but still 1/18th scale. I do have the opportunity to fix this and adjust a few other aspects of the body, but it will delay the projects 3-4 months. If we move forward as planned we have an excellent chance of hitting the March delivery. What do you all think? I think I'll ask the backers and see what they think.

I would be interested in seeing how they scale. I totally get they are their own line but there are some 1/18th figures that are tiny like some of the current Star Wars figures. Hope they aren’t that small.
On the flip side some Joes like Leatherneck and Marvel like movie Starlord are huge. Edit: just saw the comparison pic above. That’s totally fine. Fits right in IMO. Last edited by Jay West; 11-13-2017 at 09:32 PM.. |
