For years Hasbro has had Star Wars fans bashing them for releasing new figures with vehicles. So maybe they've tried to change that for us Joe fans by giving us a throw away figure with the vehicle and a new figure as a single pack |

That was one of the straws that broke my collector-camel's back when Spy Troops was in full swing. I just don't have the space for more vehicles, especially if it's stuff I already have. But dammit, I want those figures! |

I buy two Target HISS tanks, two carded drivers, and the one Rip-it with black HISS. Then the carded figures can drive while the exclusive troopers are in the cannon position. Rip-it gets his own distinctive tank with a Cobra leader (CC, Destro, etc.) in that cannon.
Works out perfect.

On a side note, I would love to see a new HAVOC packaged like this. |

Is the price point supposed to be $10?? If thats true, that will be awesome. I think original retail back in the day was $5.99 or $6.99. Then I remember ordering 4 of them on that mail in offer for $4.99 and the flag points. The figures haven't had much increase so I'm hoping the vehicles wont either but somehow I don't think we will be that lucky.
It looks like they are going the Star Wars route with these. Still looks better than the VvV packaging.... |
