Yes, I’ll send you a PM later and take some pics of my parts this evening.

Absolutely! I’d buy several.

Absolutely. I hope getting a dwarf-sized body into production is something we can expect after the horse Kickstarter project is finally completed.
I know they are or were planning on eventually moving on to spacemen, but to be honest, I don’t really care for the designs/concepts they’ve previewed so far and would rather they ran with the Fantasy line for at least a couple more years yet. |

Yeah, I’m hoping the go with Pirates next as well. It seems like a lot of parts that they would make for a pirate wave could work with the fantasy stuff, as well.

I think I'm done with Boss Fight. They're neat toys, but I can't honestly say they're 25 bux neat, what with the flimsy-feeling and warp-y limbs. And I'm sick of them shipping my purchases without any packing material. If you're gonna charge $25 a figure + another $5-6 for S&H, maybe throw a fucking air pillow in the box, how 'bout it?

I'd say MTF is a better line, but that's dependent in large part on what you're after. Regardless of theme or individual need though, from a construction & QC standpoint, I find MTF to be better. Plus, Marauder actually seems to care about getting the product to you undamaged. As you said, to each their own.

They are nice to look at, but man, if I try to move or pose them, they crumble apart.

I love BFS and MTF figures in equal measure (though I really prefer the way Marauder figures bend at the waist rather than mid-torso) but Boss Fight seems very politicized in outlook, as communicated in their figures’ “file-cards” and elsewhere (female orcs are smart and males are dumb, humans have to start letting women train as knights, etc, etc). I appreciate that Marauder just sells me action figures, without trying to tell me, say, how much more awesome the Valkyries are than their male counterparts.

I could say the same thing about the G.I. Joe "file cards", since their about the same as the BFS ones. Granted that Marauder lets you make your own "file cards" on the figures you get and have to customize to make the ideal figure of your own story about their background history. The "file cards" are there to enhance your imagination to create an even bigger story and such.
