Thanks guys.
Here's something else I found interesting: Did you know? That some of the old Indiana Jones figures have parts that match hacks figures with very little work. The lower arms pop right in, the loincloth had to be "carved out" (basically cut away the excess rubber plastic on the inside.) to fit but works great. |

If you guys are into center pieces to display your BFS figures and customs then you should check out the Legend Studio Temple Statue.
I got mine from the Falcon's Hanger in Singapore, but they have sold out now :( I want to get another one. |

Continued work on my Voodoo Priest (I am adding more skulls, possibly feathers and other details), painted the band on the top hat purple to match the scheme I am going with.
Added another member to that team, the voodoo priestess, might paint her markings white to match the priest. Also need to add skulls and weapons and such to her. And I am adding another member, either someone with an ak, a life size voodoo doll or a zombie. Not sure which one yet. |

Where is boss fight located? Don't want to complain if they're affected by these hurricanes or something but I placed an order for a bunch of their fantasy figures after receiving emails from them and seeing all over the web that they're available for immediate shipping and that was almost two weeks ago. And I haven't gotten a shopping notice. And now they're offering a $5 gift card to anyone that orders from them.
I've heard how slow they are and how their customer service isn't the best and that's why after spending almost $1,500 on the kickstarter and early figures I haven't bothered buying any of the newer items. Figured I'd give them a shot with the fantasy stuff but this isn't very promising. All I've got are a bunch of red orcs I ordered on eBay (that I've had for more than a week and ordered the same day as the figures boss fight is advertising as available for immediate shipping). |

What does MTF, Indiana Jones and BFS have in common?
Well you can mix them up quite awesomely with some light modification. (Cut down the neck peg and cut away a lot of plastic in the lower torso, using a dremmel to smooth it out in the end) |

I can't speak to their shipping (nothing is shipped quickly enough for me, but I want it four and a half minutes before I hit order), but I've had really good experiences with their customer support. They've always been instantly receptive to my needs in that regard, and their figures are top notch. I know that waiting for figures to ship is painful (believe me- this comes from a guy who sits before his computer hitting refresh and waiting for the shipping status to change), but I am confident that the figures will be worth the wait when they do arrive.
I think that they are on the east coast, so they shouldn't be affected by the weather that is plaguing Texas and Florida. I may be wrong, though. |

When I ordered the NJCC figs off eBay they originated from New Jersey. Not sure if they ship from eBay and their web store from the same facility. Their eBay item description did state "There will also be a small break beginning September 6th to September 11th due to vacation plans (if stock is not already sold through by then)."

BFS HQ is in Massachusetts, iirc; and the NJCC figures do not ship out from them but rather the NJCC people. They ship 'slowly' simply because there's like, maybe, 10 people to run the entire BFS operation and I don't really notice any big failure to ship timely once stuff is in stock. It takes BBTS a few days to process my Pile o' Loot 'activations', too.
