I dont know how anyone can be excited for monkeywrench when he is nothing more than a franken-joe made from outback...change the head (give him glasses) and he'll look like monkeywrench

Only way I'd ever buy Barbecue again is if they released him with a removable helmet.

Yeah the PoD DVD figure has the same torso as the original v1/v2 in the 25th line (which has been just fine with me). As far as the head goes its the one we first saw with the PoD DVD (and later on the 5 pack and now this resolute "prototype"); it is actually different from the HoH version which is the same as the original 25th v2 (or v29 with black timber and diaper crotch) though. Maybe I am just misunderstanding you... but no matter.
Anyway, the only figure which featured all these same parts (head, torso/waist, arms, hands, bandolier and belt) was the PoD DVD. The Dusty legs seem to be much more of a popular mold in this set of "prototypes" we see. Which is a welcomed thing IMO because they are great basic camo sculpts with a good all-around size and bigger, manlier boots than we've seen on the original 25th SE mold that has been done to death now. I think I may make my own version just like this before they get a chance to release it, or worse mess it up!

I'm glad they updated and got rid of the more dated elements.
I haven't been excited or even wanted a Dreadnok figure until now.

The Red and Black fig has got to be a re-colored Lamprey. The figure matches EXACTLY to the silver and blue Lamprey in the second release images of the new 7 packs. Also, look at the weapons pictures again. There is a Lamprey helmet in it with a red visor, with a black and silver frame. Since the Red and Black was used for the Resolute 5 pack, This has got to be not only a Lamprey, but quite possibly Resolute one. Maybe he'll have a name since he has a face. Maybe a Joe infiltrates Cobra as a Lamprey?
Also, I'm betting the Night Force Tunnel Rat and Beachhead will be a comic pack sometime soon. Bets it also has a Larry Hama original comic too. (Night Force never appeared in the old Marvel run. Not sure about anything after that.)
Yes, the Gung-Ho has to be the Resolute version. Matches the costume perfectly. Would have loved a better head, but oh, well. I'm also betting Resolute uses the new Joe logo from the movie on the Joes. I have only watched Ep 1-4 once so I'll have to watch again to see if it appears. I'd love to see a Gung-Ho and Destro Resolute comic pack.
Why do we need a Resolute Copperhead? (if that is what he is meant to be) Is Hasbro just using another mold over again because they can?
I don't care who the new chick is supposed to be, she's stupid. I pray it is a custom. I could only possibly accept her if she were Resolute Zarana. There is no way the Joes would let her dress like that. dumb.
Sorry if any of this has already been stated. I only had time to read the first 7 pages of the thread.
