Thanks for posting, Joaquim!! We hope you post more often, as hearing your thoughts and opinion on Resolute(and GI Joe in general) would be great.
And kudos to you and the rest of the team for hitting a homerun with this one. I can only hope it goes beyond this. I'd like to know the answer to this, as well. I CAN tell you that I hope Hasbro makes more resolute toys... if only to fulfill my personal childhood dream of designing G.I.Joe stuff Plus a giant sized Roadblock would look sweet standing next to all the others! |

Great job on Resolute by the way it really captures the spirit of G.I. Joe which from what most of us have seen of the live action movie it doesn't seem to get G.I. Joe, so we all needed something like Resolute to come along first to set things straight about what G.I. Joe should and could be Thanks for your time, Quote:

I'm actually disappointed with Bazooka's death, as I would have liked to see their interpretation. Still, it's incredible so far!!! |

Dan Norton here, I had the honor of working on Resolute along side some of the most bad ass artists on the planet including the master Dave Johnson and the genius that is Joquim Dos Santos.
Earlier Joaquim did a post that really surmized what we all felt as we checked out the responses to what we thought was the elusive "Dream Job" I think everyone talks about. And I just had to respond as well. I wanna just thank everyone for the support and great feedback (and the gripes). I can tell you after working on it, you really have no idea whats coming and you better hold on to your seats!! Some have said that Warren Ellis is a poor writer, I say hold the phone... Your head is gonna blow. In response to the idea that Gung Ho should be a dim-witted cajun. Think of it like this, GI Joe is a specialist oganization with the worlds top operatives battling the worst terrorist threats against humanity. You can't be an idiot with a gun and a silly accent and expect to survive in that world. You need the kind of training that would put you on the next level. Knowing some technical jargon would be common knowledge. In my opinion, Gung Ho has maintained his character (perhaps with less of an accent) when he asked another operative how this could happen. He didn't come up with it, she presented it to him. In the end, watch and see the bad assery!!! |

I also want to send thanks to the creative team on Resolute. Great job.
One other note: Charlie Adler as Cobra Commander is perfect. Having him in there is a cool touch since he played Low-Light in the original series. |

Joaquim & Dingo107:
As a 38 year old, child of the 80's, I want to thank you for giving myself and and many others like me the thrill of seeing the GI Joe world as we wanted it. When your favorite characters are Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes, it was always tough seeing watered down versions. You've made villains terrifying and battles believable. Congrats on a fine job and for making this 80's kid very happy |
