I don;t see th eproblem here, there won't be any new Classic figures until at least 2010... Let the stores empty out, the figures I can't or haven't been able to find I'll buy online. Movie figures will no doubt dominate the shelves but, meh, the 'ol wallet could use the break.
The problem for some of us is that they haven't restocked in months. The last restock here was the damn Bludd wave. |

I guess this is true. My Walmart (I checked two within the last 4 days) only had Wild Bill, Cobra Commander and Python Troopers on the pegs. I thought this was weird as my previous visit the pegs were packed tight. If I had known they were $3 each I would have picked up some Troopers....oh well.

Walmart jumped on the bandwagon to late. Everyone bought what they had and they ordered a bunch of Joes. Just happens that they were a few waves late. One of the walmarts here has Snow Serpents, BBQ, PP, foil vipers. 4 pegs full. At 3 bucks, I will get some.

If my Walmart hits $3/Joe, I'll start buying non-Cobra figures!

My Wal-Mart is completely out of the comic two packs with just a scant offering of single carded figures. There are the Resolute five packs, but they just hit the shelves a week or two ago.
Oddly enough? The place where I got a lot of the later Joes was Kay-Bee just before the went under. Target is always good for a fresh supply but as for Wal-Mart? They seem to be too focused on selling CORPs figures, Star Wars, Transformers, Bakugan, and Ben Ten. That's mostly what on their shelves in my location. |

The breakdown of the great Wally World Joe selling machine doesn't faze me. Wally World has never supported the new Joe line like they have done with all the other items they sell.
