*sigh* i just wish the gunship were scaled correctly (ie bigger). I think it looks fantastic, and i dig that its basically a direct thrust vtol craft. I don't like firefly's pilot garb though. I already have the hummer and its awesome imo. not loving the motoviper though.

If they knew they were going to release the TRU Firefly (which is absolutely perfect, IMO), they should have slapped Wild Weasel's head on that body and released Gunship Wild Weasel instead.

The back doors on the 'Steel Crusher' do NOT open. Which seems to be a waste of space. There are little side flaps that come down and have little red missiles pegged in. The missiles are the same ones that come with the claw... just red. The pop-up mechanism is cool and there is room to store the missiles in the compartment as well. The slider also has an armor plate that flips down over the windshield... very neat.

And it is a licensed Hummer... it actually has 'Hummer' on the back bumper.

I have yet to open my Gunship... but I did open my Nightravens... SWEET!

I just picked up 2 cobra gunships today and voila! there are 2 different versions of firefly that comes with them. One has a red pilots helmet, the other comes with a black one! both are at the target near my home town and there were only two black helmet ones with 4 red helmet ones. Case fresh so I know that they are not repacks! I'll post pics later if any one is interested.

Post some pics if you get a chance I would like to see some comparison pics of the red and black helmet versions

Im in wisconsin right now and once I get back from AT orders I'll take pics and post them. I found both versions at Target, however TRU has them in Red mainly but I found a Black one. I don't know yet which is the rare one... I'll keep you posted. btw, TRU in Johnson City Tennessee did have both versions! target in Norfolk was LESS THAN USEFULL AND very UNFRIENDLY concerning all items in the GI joe realm. Honestly Norfolk, Hampton and Newport News area targets are a RIP OFF AND USELESS AS UTTERS ON A BOAR HOG, ie they are a waste! Any way, the stores in tennessee and SW Virginia have better sales associates and are FAR more friendly and helpfull. Take a trip down that way and you'll find what you want, unlike in Norfolk where scalpers lie in wait to take the entire shipment.
