Apparently, someone liked the detail, and give it a go on the figure Dammit, i'm looking again! Personally, i like almost all of them. I couldn't care less about "Wet-suit" (actually, the UD was quite cool, with the removable mask and the camouflage), same for the BAT. But they're there, and are good figures, so who cares. |

Beautiful... so beautiful. I think I'm falling in love with that Alley Viper. LOL. His helmet, vest, and gear look absolutely splendid.

It was...a necessity, from what i've seen in the comic. There you can't fully see the face, the mouth is covered by the breather. We can see that when the helmet is off, only the "mandible" or lower part of the helmet remains.

That ain't Wet-suit.
One of the comic packs was supposed to be "UD vs C L". The design of UD didn't have the helmet, just a diver mask. I assume that with the crisis and the movie release, the comic packs were cancelled, and they decided to release UD as Wet Suit. They do think on fans, since this was a far more popular choice. Also, Lamprey doesn't have the full helmet on that pic. If the comic is ever released, you'll see that this Lamprey appears like that in the comic. From what i've seen, they had the full helmet, with removable visor, but they choose this version (i assume also that the helmet is completely removable). Basically, the figure should have had the helmet head, and only the visor was removable, but they instead did it better, with this kind of diver hood, and the whole helmet poppable. BTW, these two sets looks AWESOME! And, despite of being more Joe than Cobra, i think the bad guys had the better this time.
