By and large, the 25th line are larger than RAH figures by a significant degree. Further adding complications is that not all 25th figures have the full range of articulation that RAH figures had in the hip area.
Many of those vehicles (especially the ones from 82-84) are geared towards figures vastly smaller than the commonly available 25th figures. Hell, some of the earliest vehicles (Dragonfly, Skyhawk) can't even sit later RAH figures correctly!
My feeling is that Hasbro will either tool new vehicles, or retool existing 02-05 vehicles. My bets are we'll see most of the new tooling on $10 vehicles, while the larger vehicles will be reissues/slight mods of existing vehicles.

I can see hasbro reissuing some of the ARAH vehicles that they have the molds for. Basically I see this line doing what Star Wars has done for the past few years; mixing in a blend of predominantly new figures, with a few new vehicles made and classic vehicles being reissued.

nice to see a stun but i know a stinger is more likely | Only out of service for less than a year, nonetheless it is a classic and nostalgic(then again only in US service, the Iranians still operate it). Not so dated when you consider its appearance and proportions are a lot closer to the F-14 Tomcat than the Thunderwing was to the F-22. Under ideal situations, this would have been reversed but such are the compromises for kids of today.
Think of it this way. Even in the next few years, if Lucas creates a new starfighter to replace the X wing, the X wing will not cease production. Its like saying hasbro should put out the A wing instead of the X wing, wereas the latter is so much more popular and iconic.
I think the X-30 has a good chance of coming back as it was used as recently as 2003. I don't even think its a case of only 1 being able to be reissued. Also for those of you wondering why the skystriker was not reissued in 2002-03, the mold was not even given back to hasbro until 03-04 I believe. Quote: |
Also I betcha if they made a new jet they would make the jet that Starscream turned into in the movie (F-22 not to sure) & could still call it the Skystriker.
| I don't doubt that an F-22 will be made, but I doubt it would be for 07-08. This is the anniversary year, its our time, its nostalgia time. More than likely a reissue of the skystriker or all new F-14 based skystriker will be made. An F-22 I can see in 08-09 however the question is whether it will be all new or simply a repaint of the Thunderwing. If a choice can be given, I would like an all new version sans electronics.

Posts: 945 | I might get laughed off the boards for this, but seeing how the new figures are slightly bigger in size I'd like to see a rerelease of the Sgt Savage I.R.O.N. Anvil tank only this time with cobra decals! I personally think it with an updated cobra driver would look awesome and I'm sure Hasbro still has the mold,
I'd love to see a updated group of vehicles from Hasbro, retooled to fit the new figures (and maybe some of those vehicles from the battle ranger series from the cancelled 95 line! That would be sweet! |

I'd love to see the Battle Ranger vehicles, that line could have been a renaissance for the franchise, its too bad the line died that year. Quote: |

| Given that this year is the anniversary and will be celebrated as a year long line, its doubtful any of the "newer" vehicles will be reissued. Vehicles from the RAH era retooled recently(DTC HISS) have a higher chance of being released than something like the Night Adder. The X-30 Conquest has a higher chance of being reissued than the Thunderwing.

i for one would like to see new molds or whatnot, rather than what we already see from people who customize their own joe vehicles. |
