Operating under the assumption that human perception is flawed and can't be trusted, I measured this Baroness against Version 12 and compared them using the figure drawing principle that the average female is 7-1/2 heads tall. That is, the overall height should be 7.5 times the distance from the tip of the chin to the crown of the skull (hair volume doesn't count).
SDCC Baroness is 7.4 heads tall. Slightly larger than average. Version 12 is 8.5 heads tall. That's a tiny head! It should be noted that both are within the normal range for human beings -- even old peahead Baroness. |

That sounds like a good idea. Is the resolute baroness skirt easily removable?

I just ordered one, so I'm not sure. I'm thinking you can just take her legs off, heat the skirt up with hot water and slip it off... I'll report back when I find out.

More difficult than you would think to get no post-painting wear on her body her torso needs to be cracked/cut apart first, and glued after the skirt is put on. You can re-paint the scuff marks after sliding the skirt over her hips, but you will likely get some paint scuffing. Sliding the skirt off is easy..getting it back on is not hard, but if her body is painted there will likely be paint issues.

I removed the legs, then heated up the skirt with a hair dryer. Slid right off. I was thinking about painting it first, but the heat and stretching would ruin it. I removed both legs off of the SDCC Baroness, heated up the skirt again, and was able to get it on the body with no problem. I plan to do a lot of masking and paint the skirt while it's on her. I'm leaving the red on it, cause I think the contrast looks cool.
