That you persist in trying to get someone to prove a negative only highlights your ignorance of how debates are actually won. Your transparent attempts to have "the last word" are kind of amusing, though.
As for all the "old school Joe fans?" Did you read the rest of the interview?: That seems a pretty solid reinforcement of what he thinks, and not being afraid to rile the folks that have been buying his work for 25 years now in the process. Lego store was still in there last time I actually went into that place (which was a while ago, admittedly). The TRU on Telegraph Road is halfway decent for Joe stuff...sometimes (at least when it comes to single-cards and comic-packs). Target and Wal-Mart in the same general area aren't worth doodie, though. |

3. The dialogue teeters, ever so slightly, the line between silly action fun and just plain bad over-the-top dribble. If the music and actors, besides Wayans, do not emphasis the excruciating dialogue, the film should be fine. I mean, some of the dialogue in The Dark Knight was pretty hard to swallow, but the acting made it credible.

considering Rip Cord is the most entertaining character in the script, I am most looking forward to him. |

and that's his point, you are simply speculating while he has fact to back up his position. you can't dispute that. sure, you are more than entitled to champion your speculation, and it may even seem plausible, but it doesn't change the fact that that is all it is. and without anymore supporting evidence that backs it up, it is pretty paper thin speculation.
I'm stalking you, but I agree whole heartedly on this point. in fact, the rivalry would be far more effective in this first film if the backstory was a complete mystery and left to the sequels. not to mention two flashback backstories is utterly ridiculous. because Duke doesn't know this at the beginning. doesn't teeter at all, it pretty much falls flat dab into bad. strange for a movie called Rise of Cobra with Cobra symbols all over the toys. I wonder how they will tie all of this into MARS. considering Rip Cord is the most entertaining character in the script, I am most looking forward to him. |

this an extremely flawed and ridiculous argument because it demands that for anything to ever be certain that motivation has to be empirically proven as well. with that criteria, nothing could ever be proven just by words or actions, and nobody could honestly say that is a reasonable criteria.
