i guess these are good for kids PROVIDED the parents buy em. given their militaristic nature of the toys themseleves i dont see many flying off shelves due to anti-war sentiments many parents of younger children currently feel. thats not to say some parents won't buy em but i just dont see many doing that,
I actually knew this guy in high school whose Mom protested against gi joe toys. |

I'll be working at Great America again this summer. So I'm sure I won't have to worry about the movie toys flying off the shelves. But I'm sure I'll get my moto viper. |

Guys, really? For those who are complaining about these like they were designed specifically for you, and must meet your approval to be anything appealing to anyone anywhere. Stop. Your whining sounds worse than that of the small children these are designed for. You are making the fanboys look bad.

as far as parents buying them, that holds true with any toy aimed at this age group, so I fail to see how that has any significance to these products...that is just the business environment for childrens toys. |

you have a ninja on a quad, another ninja in some weird looking tank, and a smiley boy in a jeep...hardly the militaristic aspect you want to make it out to be, never-the-less that entire military excuse has never been validated with any sort of significant research and is simply unfounded speculation.

What toys are out there that aren't violent in some way? Pokemon, Bakucan (or whatever the hell it's called), Ben 10.. hell even Spongebob has some violence in it.
What gets me, and that's speaking as a parent (I had two step-children and the son played with Sigma Six) is that alot of the parents that won't let their kids play with "military toys" are the ones that played with them as a kid. You turned out fine, so what's wrong with your kid playing with 'em?
