I think he would look better if his neck was flesh tone...

for an action figure, it's actually great sculpt and detail (even though we all know when it is mass produced, it will look nothing like that)...but that ain't RIPCORD.
pass on the entire line. |

I think it looks awesome and I can't wait till these figures come out. Good thing a lot of people don't like because then they shouldn't be too hard to find.

Looks like a really cool figure. It's an incredible sculpt. I really like the figure. The action figure is not crap or garbage just because it doesn't look like the original character. It's a great sculpt and a cool figure.

That is an incredibly awesome figure well detailed. For anyone that keep up with military technology this is way cool.
The toys for the movie are shaping up well. I can't wait to get them. I do think the movie is going to be good everything I've seen shows there is a lot of thought up into the film.

There are those who hate this and others who understand it fits in current times and is a well sculpted fig. Well, for me it looks cool but has no nostalgia factor which is the major reason why I collect. If this fig came out in 1982 all of us would be all over this and the rest of the other toys. G.I. Joe is supposed to be cutting-edge Military and ARAH was 20 years ago. This is the new cutting-edge stuff designed for the new generation of kids.

I work for WalMart. We've already scaled back what we carry in the joe line and I can just see these figures clogging the shelves and preventing new release regular figures from coming in down the line. The way the ordering system works when these don't sell the others wont replenish until these get clearanced out in 9 months or so.
The problem is this, of the true blue, joe only collectors, many will give this line a miss. As far as the kids are concerned for the last few years movie based toys, with the exceptions of some star wars are slow sellers and just take up shelf space. Oh well,.. at least this puts more money back in the grocery budget, the kids dont have to go hungry now |
