I'd imagine that it is. They made mention ealier of being able to use the jacket to make Cutter in that Q&A thread.

I guess I will add my 2 cents. I tried Friday night/early Saturday but when I was typing my computer unselected the message box and sent me back a page loosing everything I typed. If it wasn't so late I would have retyped it.
Firefly: I really like the vest and backpack. This figure is great and will replace my wave 3 Firefly. Like some have mentioned this will probably be the rumored Viper vest. I would also like the figure to get a new head and be repainted as Shockwave. I wouldn't mind the backpack to also be used for Shockwave. Low Light would also be nice. Storm Shadow: I would like it a lot more if he had a shirt. The legs and backpack should be used to remake Storm Shadow version 2. I would also have like to have another Joe version instead. Copperhead: Any new character is welcome and I like Copperhead. The figure looks great and is a character that hasn't had a mass retail figure since Python Patrol. Shipwreck: Should have been Cutter. I don't do customs so this will remain Shipwreck. I might display him along with a few of my other extra version character but not in my main display unless the colors look better in person. Red Star: Like Copperhead another new character that hasn't had 1 to 20 versions since 2002 which is something this line really needs. I will probably display him with the Joes. I wish he had his missile launcher, I always like it (I didn't have the original figure but my brother did). Duke: I may be in the minority here but I like it. Duke is one of my favorite characters and this Green Shirt style version looks good. I may replace my 5-pack version with this one from time to time when I get my true display up again after my new room is finished.

...sounds like you just need to take a current Shipwreck as your base and add the lifejacket from this new one along with the parts from the other figures.
Darth, i do like your idea of using Flints arms too...and as heikks86 mentioned "as for the Red Sox hat that cutter has u can look at walmart and target and such for baseball figures to try and find a hat that would fit a 25th figure"...good idea! |

Very cool! What the hell is with the Storm shadow vs Firefly? Did they fight in a comic? Weird. After criticizing the original Shipwreck I think this one looks much better with the life vest (strange as that may sound). These figures looks pretty cool.

as i know yall've said, this is a no brainer...
use an extra SE web gear (you all know you have em') paint it brown, paint dukes hair black (or use Hawks head w/painted hair, he looks more gruff, or even Grand Slams head as it was used for Grunt on the classic Grunt) and you're done...the rest already matches, brown triming, boots, bare hands...EEEEASY!!! |
