The real reason you don't see many toys right now..... The warehouses are doing inventory (target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, K-Mart). So untill they get finished you don't see an increase, because they let the companies and the companies sellers know how much they need. I hope that's helpful.

I don't think all walmarts are doing inventory. My walmart source tells me that each store does inventory once a year. They never do inventory in the 4th quarter. The walmart year begins on Feb 1st. Therefore they do inventory between feb 1st-oct 1st. |

i finally have seen all those notorious change sheets at walmart today. it looks like they are devoting more peg room to joe. not as much as i like, but an improvement. i asked a couple of employees, and they both said the ball is in the court of the warehouses. i wanted to say i could cut out the middle man and go to the warehouse myself and deliver them to my home. does target do this kind of thing, litter the aisles with stocking directions? i haven't seen anything like this in target.

The WM in my town did the modular the past week. I saw them starting it Monday with the sheet up showing where to put the pegs for the comic packs and single figs. Went in tonight and they had all the comic packs from waves 1 & 2. Picked up wave 2 since I hadn't seen them before now. After getting home and examining them better I'm holding off on opening them as I might want to return them for ones with better paint if I can.
I called another WM across the river (before going to the one mentioned above) and they aren't doing their modular until next week. As soon as I asked about 25th figs, she told me they were working on that and I should call back on Monday. |

It seems my local WM has already done thier reset and it sucks!!! They still have gobs of Spiderman on one end, an expanded Nerf section on the other and now they have a ton of the Cars movie toys where the Joes used to be. Transformers were nonexistant and SW went from 12 full pegs down to four less than full pegs. I almost walked past the two Joe pegs they had. At one time they had five that were loaded. The Joes they had were the peg warming LJ, Serps and CC. I didn't see any pegs for the comic packs. Where have the Joes gone?!? I think I may have missed out on wave 4. And this one has never had the 5 packs. I NEED MORE AIR TROOPERS!!!!!

I hit my closest WM on my way home from work and they had the pegs set up (4 for single packs) and 3 full pegs of wave 1 and 2 comic packs. The reset sheet that was taped to the pegs had a line that read "Implement date 1/14/08"? What does that mean? Will they wait until then to fill those empty single pack pegs or will they load them up sooner? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated as I'd hate to waste a trip there in the morning just to check it out.

My WM today had empty pegs, 3 for Singles, and 3 for Comic Packs. Empty.

Well, for once, the empty pegs are a good thing. It means that they're coming. The Wal-Mart here moved all the Joe stuff [a lone SS/SE pack] from one side of the aisle to the other and placed it in the center of a larger empty space. The woman doing the work was complaining that someone had stolen her paperwork for the aisle arrangement.
