The wal mart in town here has started, but it hasn't gone very far. Talked to the Dept. manager about it.. she said they have to be done by the 14th. So i am guessing those that start on the 7th or earlier have to finish the mod. on the 14th and people who start on the 14th have to be finished by the 21st?
There are 4 that I stop at between going and coming from work. Of those the one where I found all of wave 5, has no pegs or signage stating they are going to carry 25th anymore. Saw the alignment sheet and they were no where to be found on it.

My Super Walmart here in IN does not carry any Joes at all...at least until TODAY. Went to get groceries and low and behold a lone comic-pack SE/SS with fixed crotch, which means I probably just missed my Destro/Breaker pack :(

The thing that would bug me about any Walmart stores pulling these entirely- why the heck wouldn't they when these are incredible sellers these days!? From a business common sense standpoint that makes absolutely no sense. I mean, most Walmart stores are currently carrying the not-selling Beowulf figures, tons of worthless WWE and WWF figures, and other brands that seem to choke shelves w/out movement for months, so why would GI Joe- a brand normally friendly to most Walmart toy aisles- be drying up not to return? Makes zero sense to me. Last edited by Stygian; 01-06-2008 at 10:18 PM.. |

My local Wal-Mart had a giant pallet of Transformers, but no Joes yet.

My usually pretty good Walmart here in Richmond is bone dry right now and has been since the holidays. But at least they had the spreadsheets out and taped to the empty shelves, and Joe is included w/ 4 pegs for singles and 3 for comic packs. Now if they can just get some inventory by next Monday... Please! I needs me some Wave 2 CP's! I hate being late to the party!!!

One of my local Walmarts did not carry any Joes up untill this weekend when they "all of a sudden" had Wave 2 Comic Packs!! Looks like 3 pegs for singles & 3 for Comic Packs in this area of New England. ^_^
