That reminds me of a 2 ton gold nugget I found in a river. I left it behind cause I was sure I'd find a bigger one later on. (I'm still looking...)

They have to admit, the classic line has made them beau coup dollars and they are going to snuff it for a few months? They couldn't bare bones it and put out one of those new vehicles here and there and release 1 more wave of carded to fill the gap? IF kids are in fact buying the current crop, why not keep the stuff in stores? Take it away to where kids can't find anything new, they'll just move on to something else. |

I finally get like 5 of my most requested figs (Mindbender, Recondo, Chuckles, Strato-Viper, & Wet-Suit)...all the others look great...I just wish the pics showed the helmets for Alley-Viper and Range-Viper. Lampreys looks AMAZING as does Night Creeper. Definitely grabbing both sets!

I am referring to the Joe line in general. Here you have this "blockbuster" movie coming out, and instead of having visible product brand on the shelves, you stop everything.

Damn I wish I could find Eels, Paratroopers and Black masked troopers just looking bored. I guess they sell better in my area than yours, or maybe we just have more scalpers.

Six one way, half dozen the other...
But yeah, the first few times I saw a stray Eel, I was a bit shocked, but now they're old news. Maybe it's the powers that be's way of balancing out my never having found a Wraith [plain or otherwise] when others were swimming the stealth variants. Wish I could say the same for the Resolute troopers or Python Jets for that matter. |

I am still restoring a Defiant and need parts, but have been spending the extra $$ on troop builders. Now that the initial shock/disappointment has came and went, I can move on. I'm sure kids will pick these up and have said many times I really hope it does well as it will keep the demand for new product from the stores. If stores don't want the stuff, we won't get it for sure. So I hope kids flock to the aisle and buy all this stuff up. I will buy it for kids to help as well. |

The hiatus isn't so bad. They turned around and gave us "corrected" figures in brand new 5-packs to finish off the initial run of this line. Then they pulled together 14 highly requested figures for the Cobra Island sets. They could have just held them off for next year, but they knew we wanted them. I think we should be more appreciative and less demanding.
