So any word on when the 7 packs are coming out? We keep getting all of these release information for the movie stuff but I'd say a good 80% of us just want to know when the 2 7 packs come out?

Also whats the price on these?
How many of you think the price is going to be more than the last batch of exclusives say the $80 price mark or possibly even higher. Sadly I can see them pulling a stunt like this. At 80 that would make the figures nearly $11 each. Hasbro would then come out with the following line of stink; "due to the fact that they will see a limited release on the internet we had to charge more, this combined with production costs (the term they use now to replace the oil line they use to wheel out), and overall manufacturing costs (lets throw that one in there to just sound fancy) we had to raise the price. These 7 packs are a 'Thank You' to the collectors who have helped to get the line out, so we think they will be very happy that we made it happen for them". When questions about this such as "the desert packs only had an internet release and there were 7 figures in there" and " the price of oil has gone down". We will get very muted or non-existant answer. I really hope that Hasbro is reading this and realizes that we are not THAT dumb. Need to be $50 bucks or cheaper END OF STORY. |

W00t!
I like these sets a lot, allthough I'll be going for the Cobra set! I already asked my contact to keep an eye out for it. It contains some of my favourite Cobra's! I like the Night Creeper and Strato Viper the most, the others are cool too, but I noticed they are shown without some of their gear (Range Viper and Alley Viper) |

Hasbro knows what they are doing? They released these not only to placate the fans but more importantly because they already had these figures lined up so why not make money on them. I am sure Hasbro also realizes there will be a split on the fans that love the fact that these are 7 packs and the ones that wished they were single carded.
Because of this, I am sure they will keep the price point at $35-40. They want to make money, but over $50 would just be greedy. As an MOC guy you kind of want the single cards, but really after getting 60+ single cards I am kind of running out of room so I don't mind these, especially if the packaging is nice. |
