Fine with me. Despite buying only one of each figure and keeping the packaging in good condition after I open them, I'm fine with the idea that I don't have to wait months and months to get these figures. As I said earlier, knowing these figures are coming and having to wait for them is a double-edged sword. It would be made even worse if I only got 1 or 2 of them at a time. If I can get all 14 figures at once, then I much prefer that method. Personally, I look forward to the over-whelming gratification I'll get from having 14 new figures than I will for having 5 figure released and only wanting 1 or 2 of them. Better yet? Not having to spend that much time on buying them in 2 or 3 different waves via on-line retail/scalpers. Its like pulling off a band-aid. One quick jerk is much prefered to pulling off 10 band aids one-at-a-time.

Why does Alley Viper have so much brown? Alley Viper was the best cobra figure in 1989, they better not have F'ed up the helmet.

At first, I wasn't too excited about not getting single packs. But, after some thought, Devil King makes a good point. I like the band-aid analogy. Well put!

Will do. I need to know when these are coming out because I will need to save some money for them. I think we'll see them in the second quarter April-June before the movie line. I'll be putting my pre order in with this store I buy from on the bay. Hasbro has limits on the packs unless you have a whole sale license. So I'm going to a small business that has good combine shipping. |

Yeah, apparently you have to purchase 2,500 worth of figures so you can get 50+ packs from what my source told me. Thats good for the small business dealers who won't mind selling those extra Lampreys to the army builders.
I think these will be largely produced due to the fact that we make up a huge part of Hasbro's income. So even if people don't get the packs, they will still be able to army build them. I know loose individual figures will be for sale at the toy and comic cons this year. |

Everything looks awesome in the 7 packs.
A breath of fresh air, and relief from going through the gallery of movie rendered figures. If these are the likeness designs for the movie characters, we are all doomed. My expectations lessen each time new movie designs are released. Somebody dropped the ball here definitely. None of the 7 pack figures are pictured complete with full accessories, to answer the question about Recondo's hat. The Strato Viper looks great! |

These are nice figures, but like a lot of others who already posted I'm only interested in Zap. I would have preferred to buy him on a single card, tho. Aw well, beggars can't be choosers. I will probably get the JOE set just for Zap and trade the rest. Hopefully Hasbro will get around to releasing Breaker, Short Fuze, Grunt and Zap on single cards in 2010. I'd also like to see a new Grand Slam (not another repainted FLASH) w/HAL and Hawk w/Mobile Missile System eventually. I'm not excited by the movie figures and I'm kinda choked that there isn't more modern era figs being released in 2009.
