Ok, So I see a good bit of potential for custom fodder with some of these, particularly the web gear! But I like Alley Viper,Mindbender, and Strato Viper, the Joes are ok, but I really need to see what their accessories look like befor
e giving the thumbs up on them.

but at what point do you stop shipping "25th" stuff to make room for the movie line to keep from having both on the shelf? if at some point retailers are going to have to start getting rid of old stock to make room for it, now is as good a time as any to wrap up the 25th line at retail. should they keep shipping stuff until a week before the movie line hits? of course not, then you would have the same issue as if you just kept the two lines at the same time -- both on the shelf.

The extra cardboard pieces are packaging materials they removed. Fun stuff. |

Has it been said if retailers will continue to get waves 10-13?

One thing I haven't seen addressed. We've seen some of the comic art for the upcoming comic packs that are either in limbo or re-ordered to 7-pack. So, what happens with those comics? There were pages for the Diver Duke/Lamprey pack, and something from the Arctic Scarlett/CC pack too I believe. Also a cover for what was probably a SE/Night Creeper pack.
Obviously we see that Diver Duke is now Wetsuit, and the Night Creeper and Lamprey's are in the 7-packs. but what about Arctic Scarlett? What about the actual comics that are likely drawn and ready to go? |

Great question I'm curious to know this also. I really want to see the troop builder wave with the red Cobra logo/black mask trooper that has been spotted at Target.

Good point, but to give this a new perspective:
Here's what we saw in Toy Fair 2008: Then at SDCC 2008 we saw all this: Then later at the Joe Con 2008 we saw: So we may yet see a whole lot more, especially since there was at least one wave of Comics and Single figures that didn't even get shown at any of these 2008 shows There very well may be a couple things 25th/modern sprinkled in, but I think it's pretty obvious that the plans changed (with a little help from the economy...thanks!) and they're focusing on the movie stuff now and for most of 2009. I would guess that any 25th/modern stuff that we see before the holidays 2009 will be in exclusive form...whether that be online or store. I know they've said some figures will be mixed in the movie figures, so that would be the other avenue, but for simplicities sake the 25th/modern stuff is going on "hold" a little earlier than originally planned...which given the circumstances sort of makes sense no matter how disappointing it may be. I'll definitely be getting those 7-packs and I'll enjoy them very much. I just hope there will be enough to go around.

you would have to assume retailers still have product on order, or in their distribution centers, waiting to go to stores. that's kind of my point. with what they already have, and what they have coming, there just is no need to make new product that will have to be gotten rid of as soon as it arrives, so to speak.

I like the wooden pallets. Finally I can make that diorama of myself back in the day putting up freight at Wal Mart.
Very nice!
