DAMN IT!!!.. They totally SCREWED the Night Raven.. Look how freaking Small it is.
That's it I've gotta get a Vintage NR now. I was waiting for this but it looks like a cousin of Zartan's new Swam Skier. For FS Hasbro! Having said that I do like the Ice Vehicle. With the right paint job app that could look really cool. Not feeling the Cobra H3 though.

Personally, I prefer the smaller Night Raven. Takes up less space and becomes more "playable." Really...what does all the extra space on the original do, anyhow? Aside from being more surface area to collect dust? Yeah, I'd like to have seen the mini-drone, but...maybe there's something hidden that we don't see in that picture?

Once again, I call into question Hasbro's business strategy of producing crappy products which will in turn, drive me to buy more MOTU Classics and DC Universe stuff from Mattel instead of this horrible dreck. Someone please explain how that business model is supposed to work?
These movie figures are crap and of course some of you will buy whatever fodder Hasbro gives you where is mindbender, recondo, outback, chuckles, lowlight, dial tone??? we want classic joes/cobra |

[QUOTE=artiepants;558209]words can't descirbe how dissapointe i am in the Night Raven: i was hoping they'd take the original design and modernize the "boxiness" of it (think an f-22 -vs- an f-14/15) and instead they went the opposite and made it ridiculously boxy to the point it looks like it couldn't get off the ground.
I'm a little shocked too at the "i left it in the dryer too long" raven, but its growing on me. The OG raven, as we all know, is loosely based on the sr-71. That plane has been out of service for a number of years, so why would a movie set in the future have a moth-balled plane. Obviously it needed a little re-thinking. I'm not so bothered by the boxiness of it. like many have said, it now very closely resembles the Firefox, and if its purpose is more of a stealth fighter than reconnassaince, maybe the omission of the drone and the smaller size are appropriate. Heck the first time I saw a stealth fighter i wondered how it was supposed to get off the ground. I love the new cockpit mechanism, although a 2 seater would have been nice |
