The Moto-viper does indeed look good. As for the Nightraven, if they'd streamline it a LITTLE, and at least add the pod, I'd be happy. |

BigErn!!! That pic you made.. Clint Eastwood's FIREFOX!!! YEAH! That's what I've been trying to remember, I knew this reminded me of something (not SR71)! I'll definitely get one now. Custom Clint figure? Heh. I'm gonna try it.
I love that movie...

Hasbro's just gotten massive cash infusion for the line by selling the movie to Hollywood, and is making what they expect to be a blockbuster toy line, and you're telling me that the addition of a seat and a pod (about than the size of the COCKPIT on the BMF) would bankrupt them?
Remember, it took Hasbro over 12 years of consistent, very strong sales before they were willing to take a chance on the AT-TE and BMF for Star Wars. They didn't even release items that big in movie years for Star Wars prior to that. G.I. Joe hasn't enjoyed that level of success since the 80's/early 90's, and the movie is still an unproven quantity. It sounds like Hasbro is already taking bigger risks than I'd expect if the PIT description is to be believed, but that Night Raven looks leaps and bounds above some of the stuff we've gotten in the G.I. Joe line in the past several years, not to mention being an entirely new sculpt as opposed to simply retooling an old one. Plus it's still larger than the average vehicle. |

Definitely down for the new Night Raven (and am VERY glad that they didn't give it a flouresecent or other type of garish paint job like the other movie vehicles we've seen so far!).
Will probably pass on all the others thus far but will continue to keep an open mind. |

I may, MAY, pick up a Raven but pass on the others. Oh well this will give my wallet a well deserved rest.
I like the idea of the new Raven as a homage to the Firefox as mentioned above. I'd go with that over the SR-71 in what it looks more like. |
