Tell you what guys, I seem to remember the producer coming out months ago stating the film was only an hour and a half.
Now the film is pegged at 125 minutes. 5 minutes over the two hour mark; probably mostly credits to pad the length. That being said, they did some serious reediting if this is true and/or accurate. Then they add an extra scene. If they really did at 30 minutes approximately to this film from June to March, then that only means that the big wigs upstairs figured out pretty quick that they needed to do a mop up job and clean some stankers up on this film before it was put out to public. Just a theory folks but it is based on Lorenzo di Bonaventura stating the film was a 90 minute feature. Big difference between 90 minutes and 125. Agreed. And I'm not sure of the exact meaning of "re-shoot" but I believe what they did instead was add a couple of scenes and not necessarily re-shoot. I imagine the additional scenes are the Roadblock and Duke playing a video game and probably a new ending.

Waitaminute! They wrote her off in the 1st movie? Blame Stephen Sommers for that. Last edited by miragearmor; 03-08-2013 at 04:59 PM.. |

well...technically she was never mentioned by name in the actual film. The only way you knew her name was through the credits and promotional stuff like the toys. So a character named Cover Girl could easily be introduced in the third film and it would not really contradict anything.

The only thing that bugs me about blaming the delay on not wanting to compete with the other big budget superhero movies that debuted last summer, was that they needn't have worried because only one of them was any good.
Both the Batman and the Spider-Man films were disappointing to me, at least. Especially Spider-Man. The Avengers, on the other hand, was phenomenal. |
