The packaging reminds me of MOTU Classics. The presentation is wonderful, I never expected a box, even better if it is reusable, like the VOTC Star Wars cases.
Also, maybe its just me, but I can barely see the different camo colors on Firefly, the dark spots all look too similar to the base grey used on the rest of the body. I do like how with figures such as Firefly and Beachhead, that the accessories are a combination of the first 25th versions, as well as the comic packs. Until these figures were revealed, the comic pack versions of each were the best. |

I'm not going to complain about them being repaints in nice packaging since that is how they have been described from the word go. The only thing that I do not like is the fact that they are etail exclusive. I really only have one claim to back that up. I don't like buying from the etailers because I need to see the figs before I buy them. Hasbro has done only one thing wrong with this line in my opinion, and that is the quality of poor paint aps/bad sculpts making it into the main stream. How many of us have passed on a figure we were looking for because of sloppy or even missing paint? A good example is my Ripcord. He has a huge knot on the side of his face that looks like a giant tumor. But it was hidden under his helmet and I had no idea until opening it. I just can't pay 10-12 bucks without holding it in my hands and examining it first. I like the packaging and most of the new 'fixes' but I am disappointed they wont be retail.

We need to ask Hasbro in the next Q & A if they're going to significantly increase the quality control for these figures since we can't see them before we buy them.

Balls. Almost makes me regret buying the new five packs. Almost. Needed the new Baroness and Lady Jaye for kit bashing... The rest will be trade/sell fodder for sure until the new HoH set comes along.
*sigh*

I cannot FU*KING believe that there are not just one, but TWO SE's in this wave!!! WTF!!! $12 friggin bucks for a repaint in some fancy ass box! No thanks Hasbro fuggers!
What a let down... this wave is not really dogin it for me. Also, does the Cobra Viper have corrected hands? It was really nice of them to take the picsture at the angle so we cannot see the retarded carpal tunnel wrist! |

i was never happy with the hall of heros lineup they selected.
i dislike the fact that these are e-exclusives as once you add shipping, they are very expensive. that being said, i will likely get the whole set and nothing more unless they get clearanced at some point in the future. love the bat and viper, love the gold card, hate the price
