The rumor of a new Tomahawk has been going around the campfire for a little while now. I am now leaning on this item getting made, but confirmation can only come from Hasbro, Toyfair 2013 is next week...Wait for it!

Now for the interesting items (all are Hasbro items): 655875 Ninja Army Special Ops $3.99 913370 Special Ops Starter Pack $4.99 835442 Special Ops Vehicles $24.99 913230 Special Ops Tomahawk $42.99 Special Ops is the Facebook GI Joe game that is rumored to expand to all platforms. I can see Hasbro making this their non-movie line like they did with POC. Any guesses? The two larger items are right in line with vehicle prices for the 3.75" line. The two other items have me stumped. Maybe add ons for the game like Skylanders? the "ninja army" is the "5-point articulation/very little paint apps." figures with no accessories (aka game peices ?) The "starter pack" accessories pack ? |

Eh, my gut is saying its some sort of mini-figure/game deal, ie, not 3.75 oriented stuff (or at least stuff we collectors would want).
We'll have to wait and see.

Sounds like shit for a role playing game with cards and miniatures.

No matter what it is, your'e setting yourself up for disappointment if you believe this is going to be the same size and have the same functionality of the original Tomahawk. Be it that Hasbro's number one priority is to make everything "more affordable" this would suffer from being made out of cheaper plastic and being much smaller in scale.
