Huge G.I.Joe IDW Limited Information

Big official news has just been passed onto us by the IDW Limited G.I.Joe crew. We now have new images of the IDW G.I.Joe Limited with hand-drawn illustrations and information on what will be included in each Red, Black and Blue edition's of the upcoming GI Joe: IDW Collection Vol. 1.

IDW Limited is a new sub-series of comics by IDW, with three levels of increasingly limited edition high-end releases and including a selection of special features including special art prints.

IDW Limited Books

G.I. Joe: IDW Collection Vol. 1 will be Signed by Chuck Dixon, Larry Hama, Robert Atkins, Tom Feister and Mike Hawthorne. The books will be offered in Red Label, then three different Black Labels featuring hand-drawn illustrations of - Snake Eyes, Destro and Baroness with Blue Label Having G.I.Joe and Cobra Teams done by Atkins.

These are just reprints or something like it?

Hardback collections that include super limited edition one of a kind art sketches.

For the high end editions, are the artist doing the same image 10 times, or are there 10 different handdrawn joe team sketches?

All one of a kind images, 10 different images of each character. That's how it worked for Transformers and it looks like they are using that standard for G.I.Joe

John Royle's are in different poses. He did ten different characters, multiple poses for each.

Haven't seen all of what Hawthorn is doing yet, but we'll let you know.
