I saw this and wow...i gott say sommers is ranked right up there with Paul WS Anderson (killer of the resident evil movies and AVP) and Uwe Bowl (bloodrayne 1&2).
Meh, GI Joe does not look very good. I don't think it will end up being a fluke like Transformers and actually turn out a good popcorn movie, seriously did anyone seriously expect Transformers to be good?!? Michael Bay- Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, and Bad Boys II. I just can't picture this being any good, Sommers is the guy who did Van Helsing. Im alone in this but I liked The Mummy and Van Helsing. They where kinda cool remakes of the old Universal monsters. Now they wernt great, and leave your brain at the door types but still enjoyed them.problem with Van Helsing was they tried a little too much in it with Dracula,Frankenstein,WolfMan,Dr.J etc And it was overly campy at parts when it needed to be serious. Mummy 2 sucks though. Had Mummy2 been alittle more serious like the first then it could have made Van Helsing better. Last edited by SPECTER; 01-24-2009 at 01:48 AM.. |

well instead of picking a twig to play the baroness...maybe they should got someone with bewbs? It would make sense but then again that would imply hollywood thinking about proper casting and thats a bit much to expect from them lol.

Personally I would have liked to see Asisa Argento get the role of Baroness If it were back in the day, I'd go with Sarah Douglas. (Swampthing, Superman) Last edited by delta; 01-24-2009 at 05:20 PM.. |

I have seen a lot of guys say that. I'm not too familiar with her work, but i have looked up pics of her since i hear the name being tossed around. She dose look the part, but is she a good actress? Not that this movie will need "good acting".
