Decent looking figure. I'm not crazy about the colors, but it looks pretty damn close to the original. I'd put this above the Cobra reveals so far.

I'm fine with the Frag-Viper's legs, and I'm fine with Mortal's lack of chrome. I'm more bothered by Charbroil's Retaliation trooper vest, and even that's not too terrible. Cobra Letal--like Cobra Mortal--is just an extra, not even something I'd bother getting if I have to get the individual figures.
I'm more interested in Repeater and S.A.W.-Viper having their original weapons. Repeater, as seen in the concept art, will probably have a mini-gun, though. I've always liked S.A.W.-Viper's giant, unwieldy, ridiculous gun. I'd complain about his purple color before I complain about his gun in any event, and I don't intend to complain about that either. |

Wow, sounds like some of you guys need some marriage counseling.
Anyways, I think it's a decent enough update to the original, but the colors make it very hard on the eyes. Why couldn't they just keep the original, darker colors instead of giving it an almost, fluorescent like blue and a greenish, grey? It is called NIGHT FORCE, not BRIGHT FORCE. Makes too much sense to give a night ops guy, darker colors, I guess. I do like the design, and all the little changes make sense, but the update in colors just baffles me.

I am by no means hating on the Club's figure but, personally, I like the standard colors over the NF repaint.
Nice re-imagining, Starbuck. |

You are like a brick wall with worse punctuation. Yes, technically the mold is different. Yes, the vest/armor is "different" but it captures the essence of the original. From what you said it seems like you are not a fan of the extra detail and tooling to the legs/arms to make the clothing look more realistic. What did you expect them to do? Go buy the original if this does not suit you. Also, thanks for assuming that you are an idiot; makes it easier on us.
Oh and your "logic" is flawed. But nice try. So, now with some paint and vintage helmet and accessories, its Charbroil? The sad thing is that there was already a ME version of Charbroil out there that wasn't horrible. They could have just used the RoC recipe, changed perhaps the chest armor and head/helmet and accessories and no one would have flinched. THAT version isn't perfect in terms of paint, but its world's better in terms of parts choices than the Clubs - and they just Frankenjoed it! It is fine to say you like a figure. But don't suggest that is a really awesome version of a classic figure when the colors don't match, the body parts don't match, and the only parts that seemingly match were removed from older figures and slapped on this one! This was lazy, not creative.
