I'm sick to death of seeing mountain ninjas.

I saw this on the day it debuted and frankly, I thought it was fan created, I didnt think it was an official Paramount trailer at all.

LOL! I saw this Storm Shadow centric clip as something that shows to the Japanese audience that SS is the primary star, according to them, "Back for Revenge," slicing random things down causing glass to shatter, and somehow making the ground of an entire city burst into the air in one wicked explosion.
Then, the mysterious Black Ninjaman in the mountains ... is ... The Only Man Who Can Stop Him! And an army of Red Ninja! On his flying/exploding bike! And then ... oh wow. That's actually not TOO far off from this movie. Ninjas .... ninjas everywhere! Lol. I still want to see it.

If it were part of the actual movie, I might be more excited about it finally coming out.

This is just me being me but has anyone noticed how Paramount/Hasbro keep reusing the same scenes for every single spot?
Because they are not previewing any newer material, I am beginning to think that is all the 'bells and whistles' Joe 2 has. As Barney the Wise from the Flintstones always was keen to say, "I don't know Fred". |

If I lived in Japan and didn't know much about Joes and saw this trailer, I would go see it.

Has any other movie release ever been this dragged out before? It feels like this movie is never going to be released & the same trailer is going to keep popping up on the front page every couple days til the end of time.
I can't think of any other situation where the phrase "shit & get off the pot" applies better. Just release the damn thing & get it over with. |

I feel that 39 second preview is better than then 2 hour Crapfest known as Rise of Crap. A friend of mine just rented ROC for the first time and said in his own words "this was one of the top 5 WORST movies I have ever seen. It was so bad I was counting down the minutes until it was over." Yeah, so even non- GI Joe fans think this movie was a steaming pile of.........Yuuuppppppp you guessed it.

The thing is, we wait on each new trailer with baited breath, hoping for a glimpse of something new. The general movie-going public doesn't necessary remember one trailer to the next, they just look at the preview and use it to determine if the movie is worth going to see. They don't dissect it like we would. And Retaliation, because of the push back, we've been seeing the same stuff a lot. The Retaliation trailer progression is the same as any other movie.
